Merstuck!Cronus X Rufioh (Requested)

Well this was a Cronus X Rufioh request but I made it merstuck because I haven't written one of those yet. Warning, I suck at using Rufioh's quirk. I try to use perfect grammar and replacing I=1 i=1 for it though.

You watch as thousands of mertrolls pass by the castle. They all look excited for work, not. They all look really tired. "Prince Cronus, your father has requested for you to meet him in the library." A guard says. "Alright." You say, swimming over to the library. You open the door and see your father looking at you walk in. "You requested me, father?" You ask. "Yes son. Sit down, would you please?" He asks, seeming a bit out abnormal. You sit down infront of him and look at him from the other couch.

"Lately son, I have been thinkin' lately. You are 19 years old noww, and still havven't found that special princess. Maybe settin' you up wwith Condesce's daughter Meenah might wwork." He says. "Dad, I do not like her like that. She isn't evwen my type." You reply. "Son, I can't be king forevver, you knoww. I can't let you be a failure to the throne. Your brother Eridan could just take your place for the throne, you knoww? And wwe definitely don't wwant that, noww do wwe?" The King says. "Yes, I do believwe so father. Knowving that he wvants all the land dwvellers dead means that he wvould attack them as king." You say, thinking of your brother murdering innocent land dwellers. "Son, you havve a date wwith Meenah soon. And wwe wwill celebrate wwith a ball." He says, smiling wide. "Dad, can't I havwe one last chance at this?" You ask. "Fine. Fail me, and I wwill make you marry Meenah." He says.

You swim back to your room, sighing at the ceiling. Maybe you could find another princess- That's it! You pretend to date another princess and find someone on land to like. That will totally work! Good job Cronus! You are very intelligent.

(Adding in my OC Marina because I need someone who is a royal blood and not in the actual comic Homestuck.)

"Hey Marina, you busy darlin'?" You ask into your conch shell. "No, why Ampora?" She asks. "Because I "need to marry someone soon" according to my father and I wvanna see people on land." You say into the phone. "And I'm supposed to be your date, correct?" She says, seeming irratated. "Yep. Can you pretty please do it for me?" You ask her. "If I can get kisses from you every time you bring me over or whenever you pick me up, sure." She says, giggling a bit. "Fine darlin' but you havwe to promise to not tell my father, alright?" You say into the shell. "Alright you have yourself a deal Cronus Ampora." She says, hanging up and smiling.

You had one thing left to do. "Tell my
father that I left to go meet up with a Princess that is in a kingdom far away." You tell a guard. They nod and swim off towards the library. You pack yourself some food and head up to the surface.

You eventually reach the surface after an hour and see a few faces. One in paticular catches your eye and he appears to be a low blood. A rust blood in fact. "May I help y0u there?" He says, staring at your tail. "Oh sorry there. I wvas just wvonderin' wvhat life up here wvas like." You say, begining to actually wonder what life was like up here. "Well 1f you must wonder, 1t's pretty sh*tty to be honest. 1 wouldn't suggest even dar1ng to l1ve here..." He says, sighing a bit. "What's your name anyways?" The troll asks. "It's Cronus Ampora. Wvhat about you?" You say. "1t's Ruf1oh N1tram." He says, bowing. "Oh it must be fun actually breathing air all the time." You say, swimming underwater for water.

"Can you even breathe air?" Rufioh asks once you get more water in your lungs. "No... I can't but I do need wvater to be able to talk wvith you." You say, gurgling water in your mouth. "Even if we both aren't land dwellers, I still like having a "sea dweller" friend." He says, blushing a light rust color. You blush a violet color and you both stare at each other. You duck underwater again for more water, and Rufioh leans over the side of the dock, smiling at you. "Y0u are pretty cool Cronus, if I do say so myself." He says, smiling. "Yeah true. You are pretty "cool" to talk too Chief." You say, blushing a bit afterwards. "Wvell, I probably should go before my father wvonders wvhere I dissappeared to." You say, swimming underwater before Rufioh grabs your arm. "Please c0me back soon Cronus." He says and lets go of your arm.

You swim back to the castle, remembering where the dock was located and kept it on your mind, especially Rufioh. He was pretty cool and you did have a crush on him.

As you swam closer to the castle, you noticed that Meenah's mother had shown up at the castle. 'Oh great. She's here for trouble.' You thought to yourself as she saw you reach near.

"Why hello there Cronus. )(ow have you been lately?" She asks. "Alright." You say. "Dualscar, if you don't mind, can I borrow your son for a moment?" She asks. "Sure." He says, smiling.

She takes you into another room. "Alright Cronus. You wanna sea somefin amazing?" She asks. "Sure thin'." You reply back. "Alright." She smiles, and does some magic on you.

"You have been reely blessed by me to go live with your flush crush." She says, smiling wide. "T-thanks Condesce." You say, smiling wide as you look at your new legs. "Hurry up and escape before you reely run out of air." Condesce says. "What about you?" You ask her. "I'll hold him off, you just swim out of here." She replies.

You nod and swim out the window, heading towards the surface. You make it there sucessfully. You don't see Rufioh anywhere though this time.

<Rufioh's POV>

You fly around in the sky, trying to see if Cronus had arrived yet. You notice him and land on the dock.

"Why hell0 there Cronus. Y0u look different." You say. "Yeah. Wvell this time, I can finally breathe air." He says, pulling himself up onto the dock. "Wow. Th1s 1s pretty cool Cronus }:)." You say, smiling. "Your vwings are pretty cool Chief." Cronus says, trying to touch them. "Please, do not touch them. Thanks." You say at the highblood. "Awvwv, pretty please?" He asks, making a pouting face. "1-1 would let you 1f 1t d1dn't tr1gger me..." You say, almost sounding like Kankri.

"Too bad." He pokes your wing and your face turns entirely rust colored in seconds. You are totally triggered right now and can't speak.

<Be the non-triggered troll>

"Y-you okay there Chief?" You ask him, taking out a candy cigarette. You loved these since you couldn't necessarily smoke underwater.

"Why would you even dare to do that?" He asks you, glaring at you. "Wvoah slowv dowvn there Chief. Wve all havwe to growv up sometime, am I right?" You say, trying to cheer him up. "Grow up?!?! Are you ser1ous r1ght now? 1 dont want to even dare to grow up. 1 never want to grow up and what you just d1d was tell1ng me to grow up you d*ckbag." He spits out at you. "1 am ****1NG 6 sweeps old, and 1 already have someone h1tt1ng on me." He finishes, blushing alot more. "B-but you are... Wvhatevwer." You say, getting into the water again and trying to hold your breath underwater.

One. Two. Three. Four minutes pass and you still can hold it. Surprising as it is. "Cronus, look out!" Rufioh cries from above, noticing something in the water. You see HIM. You rush onto the dock and hide behind him.

"T-that's my d-dad.." You say, being really scared. "Hold on." He says, taking your hands and taking flight.

"Wvoah... It's pretty cool up here Chief." You say at first, noticing the stars coming out. "Yeah. You see why 1 love to fly." He says, looking down at you.

"Cronus." Rufioh says. "Y-yeah Chief?" You ask, wondering what's up. "Would you umm.... 1 dont know... Wanna be my matespr1te?" He asks. You almost let go of his hands. "Of course I wvould like to be Rufioh." You say, spitting out your candy and watching it fall to the ground.

"Good." He says, landing and kissing you on the spot. You blush instantly at this and so does he. "What were you anyways Cronus before you could breathe a1r?" He asks you. "Used to be a prince. I didn't like it though. So I left and met you." You say, acting all cool again. "Well 1t must have sucked for you 1f you left." He says, hugging you and kissing you again. "You can now be my pr1nce Cronus." He finishes and smiles.

"Alright, let's start our owvn kingdom then." You say, smiling at the night sky and freedom from your father.

This was a bit Out of Character tbh, and I think it made it a bit more fun that way tbh. Condy would never be that nice anyways to Cronus anyways. She'd make him beg or somefin.
Oh yeah, I can't read anyone's updated stories on here because Wattpad is being a butt. Sorry for the inconvience. At least I can read your comments though, which is good.
