I clicked off my alarm and sat up on the edge of my bed. I was going back to school today instead of doing online classes and I didn't know how to feel. It's been awhile since I've been there and I've low key enjoyed not having to physically go there.

When I got back home two weeks ago, I didn't hear the end of it with my dad, but thankfully my mama calmed him down. So pissed off about the same things he always says, I was out the house with Anthony again for a day after that. Funny how he says he understands and will act better about my relationship but still jump on me about what I do. I don't understand.

Standing up and putting my slippers on, I went to my closet to pick out something to wear. I then went to shower; the water waking me up. After a good twenty minutes, I hopped out, wrapping a towel around me.

I went to the sink and took care of my mouth hygiene and skincare routine. Drying myself off, I moisturized and got dressed then went to do my hair. Hearing a knock at my door, I sighed, placing the flat irons down.

Walking to the door, I opened it and it was Jr. He was already dressed up for school, Backpack and everything. "Mama said can you drop us off at school?"

   "Are y'all ready?"

"I am, Caitlyn not." He says.

"Well tell her if she's not ready in the next five minutes, she's getting left." I said so serious.

I was still low key tired and was still mentally debating on going back. It's like the urge to lay back in bed was heavy in my soul. I got too comfortable with online classes.

"Bet." He took off down the hall, so I closed my door.

Hearing my phone buzz, I grabbed it and headed back to my bathroom. Checking it, I smiled hard seeing his message.

Mornin mamas - 6:45am.

Morning ☺️

Placing my phone on the sink, I looked at myself one last time. Putting the finishing touches to my hair, I turned the light out and grabbed my phone, walking out the bathroom.

Grabbing my bag, purse and keys, I walked out my room, closing the door behind me. Just as I'm walking downstairs, another message came through from Anthony as the twins was now behind me.

Deciding to text him back once I get in the car, I put my phone away. Making it downstairs, my mom was in the kitchen making coffee. She was still dressed in her purple gown and slippers.
