We were back home in Chicago now. It was nearly ten at night, I was tired, and ready for a nap honestly. After the basketball game with his cousin, we chilled and talked with his family for awhile and played card games. Then we had to get to the airport two hours early. His mom and brother were coming back tomorrow morning, so he was going to pick them up.
We made our way to his car that was parked in the garage when we left. He was placing our luggage in the back, so I went to sit in the car. Before I could open the door, my hand was quickly pulled away.
"You don't open doors." He says while opening the door for me.
I smiled at his sweetness. "Thank you." I say getting in. He closed the door and went back to the trunk just to close it. He then came to the driver side getting in and starting up the car.
He drove off and headed to my grandparents house to drop me off. I was in the middle of texting the girls that I was back in the city when I got a call from my mom. "Hello?"
"You back yet?"
"Yes." I say.
"Okay. You and the twins will still be at your grandparents until things get ready at the new house." She says.
I was glad to be staying at my grandparents house a bit longer. I wanted to spend as much time with them before I go off to college.
"Okay."
"See you soon." She says and hangs up.
I sighed, going back to texting the group. I was nervous to go back to be honest. I feel my dad is waiting for me there. Anthony is dropping me off, so I hope my dad doesn't start anything and it's a smooth drop off.
While on the flight, Anthony offered for me to take his hide out place again. He even made a key for me for whenever I accepted it and was ready. The thought of having my own place seem nice, but it was a big step.
I can't help that a part of me hopes my dad didn't really mean it. He couldn't despise my relationship with Anthony so bad to where he kicks me out and doesn't want anything to do with me.
We pulled up to my grandparents house and my parents was gone since I didn't see their cars. I was happy about that. I didn't want to come when they was here. I know I wouldn't hear then end of it by coming back with Anthony again.
