*Sophie's POV*

I was sat at the breakfast bar in Beast's house watching four of the six members run around the kitchen yelling commands at each other. It was amazing how unorganised they all were. It took two members to just brown the mince beef, which was starting to burn because they were neglecting it and shouting at each other. DongWoon was sat beside me writing out the essay we were given for Media. I stopped writing and leaned towards him and whispered, "Is it always this caotic?" He nodded, scribbling away in Hangul.

"Sophie," I looked up from my work to see Yoseob stood in front of me holding a teaspoon with some sort if red goop on it. "What do you think?" He moved the spoon towards me and I opened my mouth and he popped the spoon in. I chewed and instantly felt sick. I nibbled slower, trying my hardest not to spit it back out. I swallowed, forcing it down. I had no idea what it was supposed to be, but it defiantly wasn't lasagna sauce. "You don't like it do you?"

"Well, it's...different. A very...unique flavour." I hiccuped and DongWoon chuckled. "I'm so sorry oppa, I can't lie, what the hell was that?"

"It's supposed to be the sauce," he frowned and I felt sorry for him.

I shook my head and stood up, walking around the counter to stand in the centre if the kitchen. "Oppas, go sit down and watch me." Before I became a waitress I was a kitchen assistant for my big brother and his fellow chefs and I'd picked up a lot of tricks. I rolled up the sleeves on the top Yoseob had leant me while mine was washing and binned everything. The sauce was foul and the mince was burnt to a crisp. I washed everything up and grabbed fresh ingredients. I preheated the oven to 180.C and turned on a medium sized hob. I drizzled a dash of oil into the clean frying pan and dropped in the huge clump of lean mince beef and fried it until it was all browned. I removed it from the eat and set it in a colander for the juices to drain. I grabbed an onion, peeling it and quickly chopping it, lifting up the wooden board and scraping it into the same pan, it sizzling straight away. I crushed a single clove of garlic and diced some mushrooms and added them, cooking until soft. I then threw the mince back in and squeezed and entire tube of tomato purée.

"Where have you learnt this stuff?" HyunSeung asked in ore.

"My big brothers a professional chef," I answered pouring a tin of chopped tomatoes into the pan and mixed it up.

"How old is your brother?" Gikwang asked. I seasoned the sauce with salt and black pepper and let it simmer gently while I started on the cheese/white sauce.

"He's exactly one year older than you. You have the same birth date." I added milk, grated cheddar and some flour to a sauce pan and stirred it until it had all mixed together.

I lined the base of a large square baking dish with lasagna pasta sheets, covered with a third of the mince then added more pasta then the cheese sauce and repeated twice more, covering it with grated cheddar. I placed it in the centre of the over then faced the guys, who had been watching my every movement persistently.

"And that, fellas, is how it is done," I said and gave them a pompous grin. "It'll be ready in a hour tops so what do you want to do until then?" I walked to the breakfast bar and sat next to JunHyung. They all looked at each other and then at me.

"Tell us about you," HyunSeung said and they all stared at me.

"There's not much to tell, but if you really want to hear about my boring life, on your heads be it." I fidgeted on my stool and got into a more comfortable position. "I grew up in a small shitty town called Northwich, where it rains 300 days of the year and snows the rest. I've didn't have many friends in high school and made a few more at college. I wasted a year of my life studying at a college I hated so I left and went somewhere else." I stopped and shrugged.
