Chapter 52: Boy-Band Bickers

*Sophie's POV*

"May I ask you something?" Rose asked as she slipped out from under her covers to sit on he edge of her bed, bending over to slip her feet into her pink fluffy slippers. 

Stretching my arms up above my head and extending my legs out, groaning as I felt my hip click, I'd bruised it last night when I fell off BaekHyun's bed and it wouldn't stop clicking. After getting up out of my own bed I made my way over to my wardrobe and opened up the door, unhooking my thin summer dressing gown off the coat hook and pulling it on. "Yeah, sure you can, unnie."

"What were you and BaekHyun doing underneath that quilt?"

I spun around to look at her, her eyebrows raise inquisitively. "Nothing happened." It wasn't really a lie, nothing did happen except for BaekHyun... you know, getting a little over excited. But remembering that made me want to know why he actually got it in the first place. Rose didn't really care if anything had happened, she was just curious and after she shrugged it off I followed her out of our bedroom, down the stairs and into the living room, where most of the Exo members where sat chatting and watching tele.

All but six members seemed happy to see us, and I couldn't blame them to be honest. The six members that had pranked us had gotten a taste of their own medicine yesterday. So I grinned at them innocently and waved my hand like a hyperactive child. "Morning boys!" I chirped and skipped through the dining room and into the kitchen where I was going to prepare us all some pancakes.

Getting the flour out of the cupboard above my head and milk and eggs out of the fridge I proceeded mix them all together in a large mixing bowl. I still hadn't gotten used to the giant portion sizes I now use, sometimes I would make to little, and others I would make too much, but living in a house with twelve men meant that nothing went to waste. 

Grabbing a whisk out of the second draw I started to mix up all the ingredients and hummed away happily, signing to myself as I cracked four more eggs into the bowl and added more sifted flour and milk. When I was just about to ladle some of the mix into the frying pan that was now heated on the hob, a pair of strong, yet gentle arms snaked their way around my waist, and a chine was rested lightly on my shoulder. 

I recognised his heavenly scent straight away, the bewitching smell stealing away my focus. "You're going to buy me a new hairdryer," Kai whispered directly into my ear. What he meant by that was yesterday, the prank me and Rose had pulled on Kai and KyungSoo was that we put baby powder into their hairdryers and recorded them when they went to use them. I can safely say, I don't think I have ever laughed so much in my life. 

I giggled and he nuzzled his nose into my neck and back-hugged me tighter. I dropped some pancake mix into the frying pan and organised it into the best circle I could. Pressing it down slightly with a spatula and flipped it over to let it cook on the other side, a small droplet of the pancake dripping off to form its own tiny pancake. Using the spatula I picked it up and blew on it to cool it down, before pinching it and holding it in front of Kai. "Arrgghh," I spoke as he smiled cutely and opened his mouth and I popped the small bit of cooked batter into his mouth. 

"Hmm," he hummed as his lips closed and wrapped around the tips of my fingers and he smiled against my neck when I went back to scoop the pancake up and set it on a plate. 

"What about me?" I heard a second deep, sing song like voice call out. Snapping my head round I found BaekHyun stood near the door, an adorable pout set on his soft lips. Slipping out of Kai's comforting grasp and walked across the kitchen towards BaekHyun to pinch his cute, puffed up cheeks. "Aigoo, is my ikkle bacon buttie jealous?" I cooed and noticed that BaekHyun's cheeks changed a light shade of pink. 

"Why does he a cute nickname?" Kai whined and when I turned to look at him I saw he had his arms folded across his chest, and now he was also pouting. I rolled my eyes and made my way back over to the stove, preparing a large pile of pancakes and picked the plate up after turning everything off. 

"Naww, is Kiwi jealous too?" Kai smiled at the little nickname as I winked at him secretly as I walked past him and out of the kitchen towards the others, calling out that breakfast was ready.

 

*BaekHyun's POV*

Sophie walked past me, her arm brushing against mine and when she saw my blushed cheeks, the same smile I had seen her with in my dream spread across her lips. I turned to watch her walk away, biting my lip as I secretly check her out.

"Back off BaekHyun," I heard Kai hiss. I spun around with fury burning in my eyes to see that he had silently skulked across the kitchen to stand no more than a meter away from me, using his height to his advantage, glaring down at me with dark, cold eyes. "Sophie is mine!" He growled under his breath, squinting his eyes to make his stare that much more intimidation.

But what he failed to realise was that it wasn't going to work. He thought he looked like an intimidating wolf, but instead he just looked like a little lost puppy. "Oh yeah?" I questioned in a sarcastic tone. "What gives you the right to call her your property?"

"Many things," he boasted. "We're the same age. We have similar birthdays, we're both dancers, we love the same things, we have the same hobbies." He stated reason after reason but that didn't mean anything to me. Sophie and I also had our similarities. "I have more in common with her than you do."

I smirked evilly. There was one advantage I had against Kai, the fact me and Sophie had gone further with each other. Even though we hadn't actually kissed in reality, you couldn't say that after that night in the bathroom that we don't have a spark together. Closing the distance between us, I glared up into his eyes as a mischievous, smug and devilish grin tugged at my lips. "That's not what she was saying last night."

 

A/N: Whoo! Another chapter uploaded!! :D If you guys are wondering what the hairdryer prank is, you just basically fill a hairdryer with baby power or flour and wait for them to use it. It blows out EVERYWHERE!! I've posted a video to the side xD
