*BaekHyun's POV*
Tears stung in my eyes, the bridge of my nose itching with the pain of holding back the salty droplets of water. I was parch, my throat dry and soar, and every time I swallowed it felt like I was pushing a mouthful of sharp glass shards down my throat. My fist started to ball up into tight fists, on one hand my neatly trimmed nails dug into the frail skin of my palm, indenting little crescent moon shaped grooves into my skin. While my other hand gripped round my beer can so tightly, the aluminium foil crumpled effortlessly in my strong grasp.
*Calm it, BaekHyun, it's just a dare* I told myself but I couldn't help the fury I was holding for Kai at this very moment. A hand was placed on my quivering shoulders and when I looked towards the person I was greeted by Suho's apologetic gaze. He have my back a reassuring pat on the back when he jumped a little at ChanYeol's booming voice yelling to the words, "You can stop."
I looked over to the centre of the circle where Kai's hands were still wrapped tightly around the woman I loved. His eyes upon her face, his hand upon her hand, his lips caressed hers. It was so much more than I could stand. Finally, a minute passed after ChanYeol had given the go ahead to stop and their lips finally parted, Sophie's cheeks blushed bright crimson. Sophie shuffled back to her spot next to Luhan and ran her fingers over her lips, swollen from her kiss with him!
This time Eli moved forwards towards the centre of the circle and it spun around and around until it finally landed on Sehun who scowled evilly at the glass bottle, his eyes narrowed into thin slits. "I'll go with truth," Sehun said, going with the easiest option.
"I've got a question!" Sophie chirped and even from a far I could see the mischievous twinkle in the corner of her gorgeous bright blue eyes. Sehun gave Sophie a look that said 'be careful' and Sophie started to chuckle. Sophie looked at Luhan and winked at him, and Luhan's eyebrows shot up and he lifted his cider can up to his lips to take a gulp. She looked back at Sehun and grinned. "Are you gay?" Luhan spat out his drink all over the floor and his hand slapped up to cover his mouth, to stop any more of his drink spilling out. He started to hiccup as Sehun gaped at Sophie, giving her a 'are-you-being-serious' type of look.
"No, Sophie! I am not gay!" Sehun argued and pouted at her.
"Then why do I never see you speak to girls?"
"I speak to girl," Sehun complained and folded his arms across his chest. I couldn't hold the laughter in much longer, and not wanting to be the victim of Sehun's bitch face I decided I would go into the kitchen to make myself a nice boiling hot cup of coffee.
After quickly making my drink I walked into the room, and at the worst time possible.
"I choose promise." Was what I heard Sophie say, so it seems like she had been unlucky and had been picked by the bottle again, and I could probably tell Sehun was happy it had landed on her. Karma, was what they all called it. Me? I just call it rotten luck. Because I was one of those unlucky ones.
"Excellent," Eli said and when I sat back in my spot he had rubbed his hands together while thinking about something to say. "You must promise to go on a date with Kevin."
"What?!" I blurted and when people looked at me I just started to make panicked sips of my coffee, the scorching liquid burning my tongue as it washed down. I looked over the rim of my glass at Sophie, mentally begging her to refuse the offer and to turn him down, Kai had already had her today, I couldn't let Kevin get any closer to her than he already was.
Although, to be perfectly honest, I didn't really find Kevin to be much of a threat. I mean look at him! What the hell has he got that I haven't? Apart from the talent to look like a convincing female, he had nothing against me, and I doubt Sophie was into the whole cross dressing thing.
