Chapter 46: Green With Envy

*Third Person POV*

Walking out into the shining sun, Kai smiled at himself as he looked down at his mobile. Having just signed up to instagram he followed Sophie and had taken a screen shot of the selca of him and her. He clicked of crop to get rid of everything around the image and saved it. He then pressed the little arrow and pressed his figner to his screen against the button that said 'set as wallpaper'. Arranging the image how he wanted he set it as his lock screen and locked his phone. Biting down on his lip he pressed the menu button and when the image popped up he let out an unintentional fanboy like squeak. 

He loved the way your cheeks had burned a deep shade of red as his lips pressed against your skin. His heart fluttered a little and he pressed his lips into a thin line. He had been thinking scenarios over and over in his head. Working out every ending, and he had finally decided on the one that was most likely to happen. 

"I'll see you all tomorrow," he heard Sophie yell happily in front of him. He looked at her to see she was staring down at her phone, smiling to herself. *What's she smiling at?* He got a little rush of adrenaline when he came up with the idea that Sophie was looking at the same image he was, which she was, but he didn't know that. 

He cracked his neck and took a deep steady breath and was just about to jog over to her when he saw BaekHyun walk past him towards her. Looking over his shoudler at Kai, BaekHyun grinned at his younger group mate and Kai's eyes narrowed into thin slits. When BaekHyun started to talk to you Kai's bloos started to boil. But Kai wasnt the only one. 

Besides his car, Kevin's hands had just balled up into tight fists, his lips pressed together, staring daggers into the side of BaekHyun's head. Both Kai and Kevin were giving BaekHyun deadly scowls, jealously bubbling up in their stomach like a volcano. 

"Sophie-ya," BaekHyun mumbled rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "Can I ask you something?"

"Ne, of course you can." Sophie gave him a reassuring smile, which only caused Kevin and Kai to anger even more. Thankfully, for the two lads spying on them, Sophie's smile didn't seem to make him feel any better.

"Well... erm... I was... erm... w-wondering... i-if you w-would like to... erm... go out for d-dinner... with... me?" He looked down at the floor, biting his lip and scratching the side of his face. Kai laughed at how pathetic his hyung looked, grinning at his lack of confidence.

However, the smile that spread across Sophie's face said it all, and Kai and Kevin couldn't help but feel defeated. Kai's nightmare had just happened, her saying yes to a date with a guy that wasn't him. Kevin was used to the fact Sophie was close with other lads, but that didn't help the feeling of envy in his gut subside. "Oppa, I would love to!" Sophie's softly spoken words made Kai grip his phone tightly, squeezing it hard, digging his feet as much as he could into the ground so he didn't bolt over to his group mate and slap him across the face. 

BaekHyun looked at Sophie and smiled. "Really? Great! When would you like to go out?"

"Hmm," Sophie hummed as she thought about it, and the two others secretly hoped she was joking, and was messing about with his feelings and didn't actually have any feelings for him. "How about tomorrow after we've finished the fnal teaser, I know the perfect place." 

Kevin's eyes widened and he pushed himself off the car and yanked his door open, standing there watching Sophie say yes to another guy was too much for him. He knew what place you were talking about and it caused his fury to over flow, and if it had been possible, steam would have been pouring from his ears. 

Then, when BaekHyun lifted her hand up to press a light kiss on the back if it, Kevin punched his fist into the centre of the steering wheel, unintentionally sending off the car horn in a long 'BEEEEEEEEEP'. All four of them jumped and Kevin pulled a face. Sophie chuckled and shook her head. She gave BaekHyun a quick hug and skipped over to the car, slipping into teh passenger side seat. Shutting the door she fastened her belt and look over to smile at Kevin. But her face dropped when she saw how sunked and tence he looked.

"Kevin, are you okay?" she asked in a caring tone.

"Just peachy," he lied and put the car into drive. Whizzing out of SM's car park he drove Sophie towards he house at a hasty speed, wanting to drop her off and meet the rest of U-Kiss back a SooHyun's place. He was furious, with Sophie and with himself. With her for agreeing to go out with BaekHyun, but then at himself for being to damn slow. 

He parked outside the Beast house and waited for her to get out of his car, not even bothering to getout himself to hug her goodbye like he always does. Instead, as soon as she had shut the door he revved the engine and soared off down the drive way, leaving Sophie stood there in bewilderment. *What have I done?* she thought.

After a measly five minutes of fast driving, Kevin was parked outside SooHyun's house banging a fist against his front door. The door swung open to reveal DongHo's happy face. Kevin ignored his younger friend and barged past him, shoving into DongHo with his shoulder. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

The remaining five members of U-Kiss all joined Kevin and DongHo and they shared worried looks. Kevin had never acted like this before and it really scared them. Their usual aegyo king had turned into a firey anger-filled man. Kiseop shared a look with Eli, they both knew what it was that had caused this drastic change in their group mates behaviour, becuase Kevin had acted a similar way to Kiseop not that long ago. "It's Sophie isn't it?" Kiseop asked taking a step towards Kevin, who sent his hyung one of the deadliest glares ever. "If you like her so much why don't you just hurry up and ask her out, you wimp," Kiseop teased.

Kevin's anger bubbled up yet again. Stomping over towards the stairs and jumped up to the third one before spinning around and barking, "There's no point, she's already going out with HIM!" He put so much venom into saying the word him it actually made everybody wince a little.

"Who?" SooHyun asked curiously, now getting very worried over the way Kevin was acting. 

Sprinting up the stairs, stomping his feet as he did he clenched his fist and hissed, "Byun BaekHyun!"
