(A/N: This chapter is fairly boring but I promise it gets more exciting! I've had my friend read the chapters before I post them to make sure they're not total cack xD but there wasn't much I could do do make this on exciting.)
*Sophie's POV*
It was finally last period and I couldn't wait to get home where I could scream my lungs out and not get weird looks. I mean after meeting Son DongWoon I think allowed to have a little fan-girl fit and scream like a two year old.
Today had been such a shock, I was still having trouble controlling the constant rapid beating of my uneasy heart. I had spent my dinner sat with SeungTae and DongWoon, who seemed to know each other fairly well, and it turns out their grand-parents are old next door neighbours. DongWoon was probably the most down to Earth guy I've ever met, it was as if he wasn't even a well beloved singer-idol.
I had just arrived at my last class of the day, the pointless English lessons. And I had to take three lessons a week. I walked into the class to find the one and only DongWoon sat at the back of the class. He saw me and grinned genuinely in my direction and gestures for me to sit beside him again, so I slowly made my way over, my cheeks flushing red under my pale skin.
I was just about to say hello when I was pushed aside forcefully and nearly fell. And one I regained my balance I glanced around to see who had pushed me and when I recognised her face hatred burnt deep in my gut.
SunJung.
*DongWoon's POV*
I had just sat down at the back of the classroom. It was best at the back, at least then people couldn't stare at me and if they did they would get told off by the teacher. And having the status I do, you could probably imagine how many people glare at me. It's very uncomforting.
I had just gotten settled when I saw her walk into the room. She was magical, her long dark brown hair flowing behind her like a cape, it stopping just above the small of her back. Her bangs framing her glorious blue eyes. She saw me and I couldn't help but smile. She was a huge fan and the way her cheeks blushed every time I smiled or even looked at her was adorable. She was just too cute for words, she didn't need the assistance of aegyo. I waved for her to come and sit next to me but she was pushed aside by SunJung who fell into the seat at my side.
"Oh, I never thought you'd ask me to sit near you." She pouted, fluttering her fake eyelashes. I sat there and glared her.
"SunJung, what are you doing? Go away!" I hissed and scowled at her.
"But...but you told me to sit here," she looked hurt, but I didn't care. I would rather of sat on a bed of nails than sit next to her.
"Aniyo," I said sternly, shaking my head. "And if you weren't so far up your own arse you would of realised I was talking to Sophie." I said and pointed to her.
SunJung glared at her, an expression of explosive hatred. "Her?" She scoffed. "You want to sit next to...her?" She stood up so quickly the chair flew back and crashed against the wall. She squared up to Sophie, staring into her eyes. "You want to sit with this nobody?" She jerked, a quick movement of intimidation, hoping to see Sophie flinch, but Sophie didn't, she didn't even blink. She just stood there with a crooked smile set on her kissable lips. Steam blew from SunJung's ears and she insulted Sophie in English. "You're just a gaijin!"
"That's enough," I yelled at her. "You listen to me, Sophie is the elder so show some respect! Now leave her alone or I'll be having words with your father," I threatened. SunJung backed off reluctantly, walking away cussing under her breath. "I apologise on behalf of her, she was never always this rude." I said. Sophie just shrugged, picked up the seat and sat down.
Once everybody was settled our teacher began to speak in Korean. "Hello class, my name is Katrina Ling, and I will be your English tutor." She was young, only a couple of years my senior, which would make her about 29. She was quite attractive and had a bit of a western look to her, as if she was half American or something. "So," she continued in English, and she had a very strong posh accent, similar to the one Sophie had. "Who would like to describe themselves in English?" Nobody moved so Miss Ling pointed at SunJung who looked rather shocked.
She stood up slowly and cleared her throat. "Erm, I'm SunJung...Ern, my..." She hesitated. "My tall is 153 and...my years is 19."
At my side Sophie began to giggle, which didn't go down well with our teacher. "You find her mistakes amusing? Could you do better?" The teacher asked in English.
Sophie stood up and some how managed to make her answer contemptuous yet still remain respectful. "Yes, Miss." She was told to introduce herself in English which would of been easier than riding a bike. "Hello, my name is Sophie and I'm 20 years old. I'm 157 cm's tall and I can speak several languages."
"Very good," our teacher congratulated. She was just about to speak more but was cut off by SunJung.
"Look who's an expert." She sounded pissed and humiliated.
Sophie's fists clenched, her long nails digging into the delicate skin of her palm. She started to speak to SunJung in Korean and she didn't sound at all amused. "If you payed more attention to what people said and took your head out of your own backside, and stopped being so stuck up you would of heard my accent properly. I'm the 'gaijin' remember?" SunJung flinched ever so slightly, discomforted by Sophie's venomous tone. "I am English you idiot," she insulted. "I would of thought even somebody with an IQ level as low as yours would have realised that." She fell back into her seat and looked at me, her stern expression immediately softened into a warm, welcoming look.
"What languages do you speak, Sophie?" Our teacher asked her in her strong accent.
Sophie shrugged. "I'd rather not say, I'd give her more material to insult me with," she sneered nodding towards SunJung. "Although I don't speak much Korean." Our teacher nodded and continued with the lesson.
"Impressive," I muttered with a smile.
