Let it begin!)
*Sophie's POV*
It was nearly hear, the day was nearly upon us. It was the day before my big brothers and Gikwang's birthday and I was rushing around Beast's kitchen trying to prepare him a birthday cake. I didn't know what to buy him so I thought I'd make him a cake from scratch. DongWoon and the rest of Beast had managed to get him to go to see a movie with them, and I used the key DooJoon gave me to sneak in. Their kitchen was bigger after all.
Okay, I had approximately two and a half hours before they were due home, which should be enough time. It was moments like this that made you wish you had four arms instead if two.
I had my iPhone in the dock that was plugged into the speakers that were spread through out the entire house. I was blasting out Exo-M's 'Mama' on full volume, just because I could and there were no neighbours around to complain. I stopped working and dance around the kitchen, copying the choreography they do in the music video. Once it got to the screamo bits that Xiumin and Kris do I continued to work on the cake, still singing in Mandarin as loud as I could. I loved Exo so much! The song finished and changed to play G-Dragon's song 'One of a Kind'. I accidentally spilled flour all over my t-shirt and turned around to sneeze so hard I was surprised my brain didn't fly out of my ears. After wiping my nose with some tissue I washed my hands and whisked a load of eggs in a large silver bowl.
My Skype started to flash up with a call, it was my big brother. I answered it wiping my forehead with my hand, smearing flour on my face. "Hi bro!" I yelled happily and he smiled. I positioned JunHung's mac so I could continue cooking and still see the screen.
"Hey Soph, how are you doing?" He asked. He was sat on his sofa at home.
"I'm good, just making my friend a birthday cake." I said adding some cocoa powder to the mixture.
He frowned and folded his arms. "Erm... Where the hell is my cake?"
I laughed and added even more cocoa powder and whisked it, trying not to spill any of it. "God Dean, I don't think they can send cakes in air mail." My brother chuckled and I remembered it was Dean'a birthday tomorrow. "Oh, happy birthday by the way."
Dean looked confused. "It's not my birthday for another two days, Soph."
"Oh yeah, I forgot about the time difference. What time is it in England?"
"Ten in the morning, how about... where ever you are?" Dean asked flailing his arms above his head.
"I'm in South Korea," I laughed. "And it's just gone past seven in the evening." I poured the mixture into the baking tray and looked at the screen. "I'm gonna have to go, I've got so much to do."
My brother nodded and smiled. "Don't forget my cake!" He smiled bigger and laughed.
"Get lost," I joked. "Your a chef, you can cook it yourself." He chuckled and waved at the webcam before signing off. I shook my head, smiling to myself and popped the cake in the oven on a low heat. It's probably take at least three hours to cook it's that big. I rubbed my hands together. "What next?"
*Gikwang's POV*
I was my birthday tomorrow and I was so excited. I know 25 isn't really a special birthday but to me every birthday is special. The guys said that would treat me to a movie and a pre-birthday meal, just the six of us having a fun time and a good catch up because of our busy schedules we never get time alone, especially DongWoon who is always at university.
