We were all watching our games tapes.

"Guys, come on now, don't get discouraged, okay? That's why we watch the game tape to get better." Alex told us.

"I never should have came out of my basement." Koob said. "I mean, I was safe there. I had a chair with cup holders." I tried not to laugh at Koob's comment.

"It's like a masterclass in sucking." Nick said. "Come on, guys. No judgment, okay?" Alex said. "Just positive, constructive feedback." I fake laughed.

"Nice shot, other team." I said, earning a laugh from Logan beside me. "Alright, here we go. Ice practice." Alex said. We go onto the ice and start practicing shooting. Evan and I were the only ones who actually shot.

Then a guy came onto the ice with the zamboni. It was Gordon Bombay! Alex was talking to him and then made us get out of his way. I was star struck. I'm in the same room as THE Gordon Bombay!

We tried getting into Sofi's head. She still isn't joining us. Evan even went out for pizza with her. We had our next game against the ducks. We were losing 17-0 when we opened Alex's coaches notebook to see a new plan in there, I saw Bombay write in it, but didn't tell anyone. 17-1! I had just scored our first goal with some help from Evan.

"Did you see that?!" I yelled at Logan happily, pulling him into a hug. I pulled away realizing what I did. "It's alright." He said. I skated away. He haven't talked about our date or kiss and I don't wanna talk about it since I don't know what to say. We started chanting, as Logan was about to pour gatorade on Ms. Morrow.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?" she asked him.

"I was gonna pour Gatorade on your head, like what they do with coaches?" He told her. "Aw, you guys, you're treating me like a real coach. But that's okay. Maybe next time." Alex said. "Guys, I just wanna say, we've been thinking that maybe we don't belong in this league. And today, we got our first goal! It feels so good, and it's not much, but it's a start. I'm so proud. And maybe what we learned today is that we don't need anybody else. We've got strength already within ourselves. So, good job." Alex told us. Then Sofi skated up to us all.

"I can't be a Duck anymore. I'm in." she told us. "Oh, thank god. We need all the help we can get, right." Alex said. "I do wanna win, but not their way." she told us. "You guys were right. I'd rather be a good guy." We started cheering while Logan poured the gatorade on mom. "It's so cold!" We laughed and went to the locker rooms to change.
