Cole put on a video this morning about something called "The Coach Classic." The video ends, and Cole speaks.

"Ah! The coach classic! I love it! That game is tomorrow night! Alright?" Tomorrow night!? "Now I've seen some pretty stellar talent here the last few days!" Cole looks and points to me with a 'yeah you' look. I feel like since I'm the daughter of a mighty duck, people have these big expectations for me! And I'm one of those people. "Little afraid you might give the coaches a run for their money. Who wants in?" People cheer, clap, and raise their hands.

"Everybody wants in? That's good! Unfortunately, only 10 kids get to play. Selected at random!" I hope I'm one of those kids! "Now, if you are one of the lucky ones, tomorrow morning when you wake up and you open up your door, you're gonna find a golden jersey with your name on it! It's like Christmas if you come from a very violent family." Wow. "Take a look!" Cole gestures to the board.

I watched a kid pass everyone so smoothly and shoot a goal. That kid's awesome. 100% got my respect! The kid took off his helmet..it was Jace. He's incredible!

I turn around to look for him. I saw him all the way in the back, and he was already looking at me. I gave him a small smile. He looked embarrassed and left to who knows where. I looked back and remembered when we talked yesterday. I'm Spider-Man! I couldn't help but smile!

After the video, I hung out with Maya for a bit and then went to find Jace.

"Where are you going?" Maya asked as I stopped in the hallway.

"To the room." "Why?" "I need some chapstick." "You can borrow mine." Maya said, reaching into her pocket. "No, it's okay!" Maya nodded. "Okay!" "Yeah, see you later!" This morning, I learned Jace's room was next to mine on the left. He might be there. I walked down the hallway and saw him. He was throwing a ball against the wall and catching it. I walked over to him. "Hey!" He didn't respond. I caught his ball.

"Hi, Spider-Man." I smiled at the nickname. "Spider-Man" I love it! "So, that was you in the video back there?" "Not anymore," he sighed."Can I have my ball back?" I ignored his question. "I did some research. You were ranked 3rd in the country for your age! They said you were good enough to play in the NHL!" "Thanks for letting me know, Spidey! I'll have to check that out!" He said sarcastically. "You don't wanna talk about it?" "You don't wanna hear it. I mean, you're at hockey camp! You love hockey! You don't wanna hear how it can mess you up!"

Hockey did mess me up in the middle of a season. That's a story for another time. "What if I do wanna hear?" "Okay! You wanna hear about how all the pressure that my dad put on me made me choke in the biggest game of my life and score on my own goal? Or do you wanna hear about how I had a meltdown, and now I have a glitch in my shot that won't go away! You wanna hear that one, Spider-Man?" Jace sounded like he was mad. I backed down a little, not wanting to make him even more mad.

"I'm sorry." "I'm over it." "Maybe I could help? I-" Jace cut me off."No, you can't! You all come from around the country to train with my dad and be the best! Well, congrats on being a part of EPIC! The Elite Performance Ice Center! I really hope that works out for you!" We stared at each other for a moment.

"Now, can I have my ball back, Spidey?" I sighed and threw it at him, then walked away. I wasn't mad at him. I hate to admit it, but..I'm in love with Jace.

I went into the lounge and saw the team. "Hey guys!"

"Hey!"

"Delilah!"

"Sup?"

"Hi!" I sat down next to Maya and put my arm around the couch.

This was my version of making a move. I love Logan, Maya, and Jace. This is like a weird version of Twilight.
