Ha-rin

Felix and Bangchan came back a few minutes later and leaned against the wall. "There's no way out." Chan announced, "it's all too tall to jump off. We're stuck here."

"If someone goes to the roof and screams or something, the zombies will follow them there." Felix said, "then we-."

"No." I interrupted. "I don't want any sacrificing."

"Ha-rin's right, we can't kill ourselves." Chan agreed.

"Have you got another plan?" Changbin asked and Chan shook his head.

"We could wait until it rains again." Han suggested and we all looked up at the sky to see no clouds anywhere. "Do you know when that will happen?" Lee Know asked him and Han shook his head.

"They're taking cover." I.N said, looking towards the city.

"Who is?" Hyunjin asked.

"Everyone." Clarity answered. "They going to be blowing the city up, including our school."

"Where do they expect us to go?" Lee Know raised his voice a little at that sentence.

"When is this going to happen?" Chan asked and I.N shrugged.

"I don't know, but it seems pretty close."

Suddenly, Clarity and I.N covered their ears and groaned in pain. In the distance I could hear a lot more helicopters.

"Won't we die if we just stay here?" Felix asked, "where did they say we should go."

"Underground somewhere." I.N responded and leaned his head against the wall as he covered his ears tighter.

"What if they drop a nuclear bomb?" Han asked.

"We don't have nuke bombs in Korea Sherlock." Lee Know hissed at him and hitting him across the arm.

"Whatever, they're going to blow up our school." Changbin cried. "Where are we supposed to hide? There's no where to hide."

"Hyunjin!" Someone screamed from inside the building and we all knew who it was. His voice wasn't mistakable.

"Why does he never die?" Han said and stood up from the ground.

Hyunjin let go of me and moved hi way towards the front, but Chan grabbed him. "Hyunjin, don't he's gonna kill you."

"He wants me, none of you." Hyunjin said and pulled himself out of Bangchan's grip.

The sheet was pulled back and Duri poked his head out and smirked at Hyunjin. "Gotcha." He said and jumped over the sill and grabbed Hyunjin by the collar.

"Hyunjin!" I screamed and ran for him, but Felix held me back.

Duri and Hyunjin had a punch up, but there was no affect on Duri. Hyunjin screamed as Duri dug his teeth into his arm and once Duri had let go of him, Hyunjin fell to the ground, clutching his arm in pain and panting heavily.

Duri kicked him so he was lying over the edge, ready to fall.

"Hyunjin! No!" I yelled, trying to free myself from Felix, but he was way too strong for me.

As soon as Duri leaned down to snarl in Hyunjin's face, Chan too this as an opportunity to push him right off the edge. He tried to grip onto anything to keep him up but he failed and fell with a thud.

Hyunjin got up and I walked over to him and glanced at his arm and so did he. "Shit." He whispered.

"It's ok." I told him, "it's ok, it's nothing don't worry."

"Ha-rin."

We're gonna talk about it tomorrow alright, that what we agreed on." I sobbed, "no one is going to die, especially you." I wiped away the tears that were falling down my cheeks. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a red tag and ripped his off his school shirt and gave it to me. "Hold on to it for me alright?" He said quietly, tears swelling in his eyes as well. He held my name tag in his hand tightly. "And I'll hold onto this."

I sobbed loudly as I took his name tag from his hand and he pulled me into a long tight hug. I had to hug him back. This would probably be the last time I see hi,

He pulled away and sniffed and was about to climb back into the building but then stopped and turned to me again. He sighed and walked back over to me and grabbed both sides of my head and pulled me in for a kiss. I never wanted to pull away from him. I never wanted to let him go. But I had to. Because he let me go.

"I love you, Ha-rin, and I always will." He whispered to me.

I didn't open my eyes for a little while but when I did, he was halfway over the sill.

"Chan, go down to the first floor." He said.

"Hyunjin wait." I said.

He gave me a small smile and then disappeared behind the sheet.

"Hyunjin!" I sobbed, wanting to follow him but Chan held me back.

"He's gonna be alright." Chan said softly, "he'll come back."

I sobbed as I held Chan's arms that were around me and curled myself into him.
