Ha-rin

I.N pushed open the door and sprinted back into the cage as some of us pushed it out and some of us pulled from the back.

I stood next to Felix, pushing it out the door and the zombies came running at us immediately. I jumped back as one of them jumped onto the cage and snarled and reached for me. Hyunjin pulled me back a little more and then beats it off with a hockey stick and goes back to the other side and I continued pushing.

"They're climbing over!" Lee Know yelled over the growling and yelled and what I have noticed is the we aren't moving much.

"It won't budge!" Felix cried.

"Push harder!" Chan yelled, grunting as all of his veins popped out in his neck. 

"It's not moving!" Han exclaimed as he moved back from the cage to take deep breaths and came back and pushed harder.

"We can't give up, we need to get of here." I encouraged and started using my leg strength to push.

"Changbin watch out!" Seungmin yelled and as soon as I looked over, a zombie has gripped Changbin's shirt and Seungmin ran over and jumped onto the cage and starts beating it as well before he was pulled over the cage. "Seungmin!" I cried and tried to help and pull him back over as he was fighting off the zombies.

"Ha-rin, stop." He told me, "it's not helping." He kicked off a zombie and turned to me. "Go on, make it home." 

Tears poured from my eyes as I stared at him. "No, you're coming with us." I told him and reached for him again. He stepped back from my hand and that's when I saw the bit on his arm. I sobbed harder. "Seugmin, please!" I cried.

"Make it home for me alright?" He said, tears also forming in his eyes. 

"No, Seungmin, get back in." I sobbed, but he just backed away from me and he was tackled to the ground. "Fuck! Seungmin!" I screamed.

Hyunjin wrapped his arms around me as he pulled me back from the edge as I sobbed. He was sobbing as well. Everyone was, but they kept on pushing and pulling. I think Chan was crying the hardest.

I rested my head back onto Hyunjin's chest as I cried. I felt him drop his head on top of mine as he cried as well.

I blame myself for this. I should've been sterner. I should've dragged him back over to the other side of the cage. Instead I just watched him die right in front of me. And I didn't do anything about it.

"We're almost at the door." Clarity told us as they pushed even harder and I.N started to untie the rope with trembling hands. I don't blame him, he just lost one of his best friends.

Once he got that, we opened the two sport cages away from each other and pushed it against the walls and I ran over to the door, wanting to get out of this hell hole. I tried the door handle, but the stupid thing was locked. "Shit." I hissed under my breath as I barged my shoulder into it.

"The door won't open!" I shouted to the others.

"The fuck you mean it won't open?" Lee Know asked.

"I mean it's locked from the outside and I can't open it."

Zombies started climbing over once again and now everyone except me was fighting the off.

"Hurry up and open it!" I.N shouted to me.

"Shut up, I'm trying!" I yelled back and suddenly the door swung open and I fell right onto someone's chest. I looked up and saw a familiar face and my eyes swelled with tears once again. "Dad." I breathed and wrapped my arms around him to hug him tightly and he returned it, kissing my on the head. "Oh my god Ha-rin, thank god you're safe." He cried. He pulled me back and looked at me up and down. "You're not hurt right?"

I shook my head. "What took you so long?" I asked him.

"I was at camp and they had heavy security." He told me and then looked up at everyone else. "Are you kids alright?" He asked and they all nodded and then he sighed in relief when he saw Hyunjin. "Hey Hyunjin." He greeted and pulled him into a hug.

"Hi Mr Kim." Hyunjin said and hugged him back which made some more tears fall.

"Ok, so I have a plan and all we need to do is cut through the tennis court, pass the construction site and head straight up to the mountains." Dad told us and as soon as he finished, zombies came rounding the corner. "And we need to leave now, run!" He told us and we all ran towards the tennis court up the hill while the monsters were chasing us.

We ran into the tennis court and dad closed it behind us. Everyone else ran to the other side and I waited for dad to finish locking it up and we followed everyone else.

"Shit, we're surrounded." Han said as he froze just a meter away from the exit.

"What do we do now?" Lee Know asked.

The door from where we just came in swung open and all the zombie's piled through. I heard fire whoosh from beside me and dad had a fire lighter thing and threw it over to the other side and half of the zombies followed the sound. He pulled out another one, lit it and threw it to the other side and the other half followed that one, even the zombies on the outside.

"We need to leave now." Bangchan said and opened the door and ran up another hill towards the construction site.

"Hyunjin." Dad said before me and Hyunjin exited. We both turned to him and nodded. "Take Ha-rin with you and keep her safe." He said and my heart dropped to my stomach.

"Wait what?" I started and tried to follow after him as he put a whistle in his mouth and ran to the other side. "Dad no!" I screamed and went to run after him, but Hyunjin held me back. "Let me go! Dad!" I sobbed.

"Go! Get out!" He yelled and continued blowing the whistle.

"Hyunjin, let go of me!" I cried as I tried to get out of his grip but I couldn't "Dad come back!"

Hyunjin succeeded on pulling me out of the gate and dad immediately closed it and locked it. "Dad stop, come on!" I cried.

"Ha-rin look at me." He said and I did with tears blocking my sight so I blinked them so they could fall. "You will do great thing in the future. Stay safe and healthy for me and I will always be with you."

"No, you're coming with us." I told him, but then a zombie ran up to him and bit him right in the neck. "No!" I screamed as Hyunjin pulled me away from the gate. "Hyunjin stop! Dad!" I screamed and sobbed as he dragged me up the hill.

"Ha-rin go!" Dad yelled at me and then groaned in agony as another bit him which made me cry so much harder.
