Ha-rin

I woke up the next morning with sun shining through the small window right at the top of the wall. My eyes adjusted to the light and picked my head up from Hyunjin's shoulder and looked around. We were still trapped in the equipment shed. Nothing has changed.

Hyunjin glanced at me and smiled softly. "You're awake." He said quietly and nodded and stretched.

"Did you sleep?" I asked.

"No, I was thinking all night. How I'm gonna live, what I should do now."

I glanced down at his hand that was relaxed on his lap and I held it gently and looked back up him. "Why don't we talk about this later?" I said, "the next day, or the day after or even next week."

A smile slowly appeared on his face as he stared at me. "Let's just have a shower first, and some food."

He chuckled a little. "We have a lot to talk about."

"We really do." I agreed, "but whatever happens, please, don't give up."

Hyunjin gave my hand a little squeeze. "You too."

I gave him a small grin and then noticed that everyone else was waking up too. Clarity searched around the room and then glanced at I.N. "I think they're all coming this way." She announced. "The smell is getting stronger."

"What should we do?" Changbin asked, getting up from the floor.

"It doesn't matter." Lee Know said, "we're trapped in here now, there's no way to get out."

"Don't say that." Felix said as he lifted his head from his arms that were placed on his knees, "we will get out."

It was quiet once again and I glanced around the room and then got an idea. "What if we connect all of these cages together like a shield while we're in the middle of it."

"What about behind us?" Lee Know asked.

"That's why it's gonna be around us, like a circle." I replied and walked over to the tub of skipping ropes. "We'll use these to tie the cages together, but let's gear up first."

"Gear up?" Changbin questioned.

"Like amour." I told him and he nodded.

Everyone started to look for gear to protect themselves with. 

Han came out of the corner, staring at something lovingly in his hand. We all stopped on what we were doing to watch him. "Han, where did you get that chocolate?" Chan asked him.

"I-I found it." He replied, not taking his eyes off it. "I found it in the corner."

We all dropped everything and went over to him and stared at the chocolate like he was. We were all eyeing it off. "You gotta share it." Clarity said and Han nodded.

"Is it expired?" Chan asked and Han quickly checked the expiry date and sighed in relief. "No it isn't." He said and unwrapped it. He took a bite out of it and passed it to Seungmin who also took a bite. Clarity and I.N refused the chocolate and then passed it to me. There wasn't much left so I took a little nibble and then passed it to Hyunjin who just passed it to Felix. He didn't get a bite.

We got back to suiting up and I sat on top of the ball box while I pulled on protectors on my arms. "Take off your shoes, I'll help you do your legs." Hyunjin said. I stared at him for a litlle while before leaning down and untying my shoelace. "Hold onto my shoulders so you don't lose balance." He told me and I did as I was told as he pushed protectors on my legs.

"Do you hate me, Hyunjin?" I asked him and a little chuckle escaped through his lips. "I've never hated you." He answered and came back up and continued doing my arms. "I know, amazes me too."

Once he got armored up, everyone came into the circle of cages while I.N stayed out to open to the door. Everyone gripped their weapon tightly in their hands and panted with fear.

"Everyone ready?" I.N asked from the door.

We all nodded hesitantly as I.N swung open the door and climbed into the cage.
