Ha-rin

Tires screeched outside of the school and cars and trucks crashing into one another. It really looked like a war zone out there. I sighed and backed away from the window and sat against the wall on the floor.

"Do you think anyone would still have their phones in their bags?" Han asked. Everyone gave each other glances and started looking through each bag on the seat.

There wasn't much luck in most of them, but them I found a Samsung right at the bottom of someone's bag. "Got it!" I announced and tried to open it, but it was locked. "Shit." I whispered under my breath.

"What now?" Bangchan said sighing.

"Emergency call." I said and got out of the passcode and swiped open the phone and dialed the Rescue department. I brought it up to my ear and waited. It gave a few rings until someone answered. "Seoul Rescue Department, what is your emergency?"

"Uh, hi, I'm calling from Seoul High School and a bunch of zombies started appearing and eating other people." I explained.

"Don't say zombies, they won't believe you!" Jamie hissed.

"What am I supposed to say then?" I hissed back.

"Zombies and Seoul High School?" The lady on the other side of the phone call said, "you know you get into trouble for making false reports Ma'am."

"I'm not joking, everyone is dead. Just come quick." I said, raising my voice a bit.

"Ok, well get somewhere safe so you don't get bitten and we'll send someone over."

"Thank you." I said and hung up and turned to the others. "They said some people are coming over to get us." I told them, "so we just have to wait."

"For how long exactly?" June asked and I shrugged my shoulders.

"They didn't say." I replied.

"Surely they would give you estimated time!"

"We don't even know if they're coming or not." Clara said, stepping in between us, "would you believe it if someone said to you there's zombies at their school?"

I went quiet and looked down at the phone and rung them again.

"Seoul Rescue Department, what is your emergency?" A man said this time.

"Hi, may I please speak with Kim Soo-hu please."

"I'm sorry but he's unavailable at-."

"There's a fire, at Seoul High." I said quickly.

"Uh, ok, we'll send the fire department over."

"Thank you." I said and hung up. "Now they're coming." I told the others.

A few minutes passed and it was quiet. No sirens. No nothing. "I don't think anyone is coming." I.N said. I sat there, staring at my feet. My father would've come to get us by now.

"You do something." June said, nodding at Clarity.

"And do what exactly?" Clarity questioned.

"I don't know, call Mrs Lee."

"How?"

"Aren't you the class president? Do something for once!"

"That's enough!" Bangchan, stepping in between the girls before it escalated into a bigger thing.

"We're in this situation, but I'm still your class president?" Clarity whispered under her breath.

"Call them again." June said, turning back to her.
