I start to form a words in my head as I strum on my guitar, absentmindedly. It's been a while since I was able to play. I've been very busy lately and nows the only time I got the chance to write again. I'm feeling a little motivated today as I come to survive the past few weeks alone.
I write down the words I came up in my head and start singing it. I've wrote a couple of songs now but this one feels a little different as I got to write a lot more peaceful without getting interrupted by anyone.
I feel independent and tired at the same time. I'm happy that I'm surviving but also a little sad that I had to create another plan as my first one didn't goes into what I've planned. I just have to survive this and so I can be able to achieve my dreams.
"Shit!" I cursed when my guitar string broke. "Seriously?"
It was the only time I got to write a song and then my string broke. Just how perfect the timing is.
As much as I hate it, I have no other choice but to grab a new string.
I remembered the store I went by last week. It would take me almost twenty minutes if I walk it from my apartment but not like I want to waste another bucks for transpo. I could use that to grab a few strings.
As soon I pushed the door open, I get in but pauses before I could even search for anyone when I hear someone singing. I look around and found the same guy from the other day. He doesn't seemed to notice my presence as he continues to sing while strumming on his guitar.
I was really amazed by the way he sounds that I remain watching him from here. And just after he finished his song, I didn't know I was clapping my hands and quickly paused when his eyes instantly set on me.
"How long have you been there?" He's looking very shock while he put down his guitar.
"Um, about a minute now." I admitted and he cover his face with his palm before taking a step toward my direction. "I'm sorry. I was just amazed."
For a moment, I notice how he's looking a little embarrassed as he would whip his head both sides. "Thanks." I smiled when my words made him smile. "Um, do you need anything?"
"Oh I was actually looking for a guitar string."
"Sure. How many do you need?"
"I'll just have one B string." I said and he then went on the counter as he grabs a string.
"So you also sing?" I lean back against the counter, and I can sense he was a little flustered as he hide the smile on his face.
"Yeah. Well, I only sing a little."
"And you sounded really good for someone who sings a little." We both laughed as he hand me the string. "The song is pretty good by the way."
"Thanks. I appreciate that." He said as he gave my payment. "Do you like that song?" I was a little hesitant as to what to respond that I stare at him for few seconds.
"I actually haven't heard of that song before. I thought it was your original song." I confessed and he let out a soft laugh. "I'm sorry. Is that a new song?"
"It's actually our song."
"Oh wow." I know I was sounding a little amazed which probably makes him flustered as it made him scratched the back of his neck.
"But I didn't sing this song. I had a band and in which I play guitar." My mouth swung open as I get even more amazed.
"Oh my god that's cool."
