"Are you okay?" I was pulled out of my own thoughts when Rafa snapped infront of my face.
"Yeah." I replied with a smile and he just nod his head as we look back at the TV with a beer in our hands.
It's been an hour since Rafa had pick me up from my work. He didn't tell me exactly why but that didn't really matter as I have stayed in silence. Not even realizing I already have three bottle. Surprising how I don't feel drunk like I would usually be after just taking one bottle. Probably cause I've been thinking about a lot.
I was about to ask Rafa about something when my eyes were glued to his face as if there's something interesting in his face. I've been this close to him for quite a few times but this was the first time I realize began admiring his features.
"Yes?" I almost spit the liquid from my mouth when I realize he caught me staring at him the entire time.
"N-nothing." I saw how his lip tugged into a smirk which makes me take a huge gulp of beer.
"Were you admiring my cute face again."
"No! Not even close." I defended but that only made him chuckle.
"C'mon, you don't have to deny it. You know I could actually give you the rest of my time to watch my beautiful face if you're in a bind."
"Oh! This guy is being too full of himself again. Just so you know, that face has nothing to be admired with. Not even your red lips, those well defined jawline, those brown eyes and thick eyebrows, okay?"
He didn't speak for about quite a while and when a smile stretch across his lips is when I realize what I've just said.
"If you say so."
At this point, I'm feeling so embarrassed I just wanted the ground to swallow me whole.
"Do you want another one?" He asked me when I wasn't talking anymore.
"I think I'll just have some water, please."
"Sure." He then stroll to his kitchen and was the time I was able to let out a heavy breath.
I can't be drunk right now as much as I feel like I am already. I've never been too drunk which gives me zero idea what could I possibly look like. And right now is not the best time for that as there's so much thoughts running inside my head.
"Here's you water." I immediately take a huge gulp of the water and Rafa just let out a chuckle as he settled beside me again.
Sitting with Rafa on his couch while watching TV is something I've never thought I'll be doing. Maybe it wasn't really a big deal but everytime I would be reminded that he's famous and while I'm totally the opposite.
I was in the middle of my thoughts when his phone rings. I watch how he pulled it out from his pocket and from here I was able to catch sight on what's on the screen. It was a photo, but not just a photo. It was me and Rafa from earlier. And as if it wasn't a big deal, he shut his phone and slid it back his pocket.
"Is this okay?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean this. Is this okay that people have been seeing you in social media with me, making an assumption about everything that isn't true. I know it's not a big deal to me. I could go on with my life without loosing anything. But you, you've been out from media but that doesn't stopped your privacy while people be talking shit about something that isn't true."
"Are you done now?"
"What?" He then turn down the volume before bringing his attention back at me. "Look, if you're worried about what people have been saying about me, remember I've been in this industry for as long as I can remember. It's not a new thing to me and getting stressed over something that wouldn't bring you good has never been into my focus."
