After that day I figured about Rafa and their band, I started listening to their songs which I must say is very beautiful. I even enjoyed watching their video like their interviews or just random video clips of them from their fans. And that only makes me think how everything changed I just a snap.
I still can't believe that guy owns that voice. He doesn't look like the same person I've seen the internet. The Rafa that I've seen in videos is far different from the person I met.
"You seemed in deep thoughts." Bea appeared in front of me and I immediately get back wiping the table.
We don't have that much customer today than our usual, and which probably affects my mood right now as my head gets occupied with thoughts I cannot stop.
"I was just thinking about something."
"Is it a guy?" She lean forward, giving me a playful look and I roll my eyes.
"Absolutely not." I said and she only nod her head with a small grin on her face. "Hey, can I ask something?" She turns as soon as I reached for her at the counter.
"Sure. What is it?"
"You're a fan of that band called Petals for Archers, right?" Her eyes lit up and smile etched on her lips. And I need not to wonder how interested she became with about the topic as she came near to me.
"Oh my gosh, yes! I've been a fan of them since their debut. Are you interested to know more about them? I can give you all my time if you're in a bind." Bea's looking really creepy when she's excited. Is she really that obsessed with that guys?
"No, I'll just want to ask about one thing."
"Sure." She propped her hands on the counter. "What about it?"
I look at her for few moments as I think of the questions I've been wanting to ask. "Do you know what happened to Rafa?"
Her eyes squinted me. "What do you mean?"
"I was just curious when you told me they just disappeared from the media. I mean, they're not releasing new songs and I was wondering maybe it has to do with him." She stares at me for few seconds before breathing out a heavy sigh as she rest her hands on the counter.
"To be honest, I don't know. No one know actually why they aren't releasing new songs or even updates."
"Have you not think about any possible reason?" I asked and she shook his head.
"I haven't got the slightest idea. They were really active until they just stop releasing songs and doing shows." She said. "It's probably like a year and half when their last concert tour was cancelled, and after that we didn't knew what happens next, and everyone was surprised when we saw Rafa's new appearance. I mean, he looks like a very different person you can tell, and until now we still don't know what happened to him or the reason why they're not giving some updates."
"Are they disbanded?"
Bea quickly shook her head. "No. We believe not. No one verified that issue though and that's why we believe they're not."
I look straight to nowhere as I take in everything Bea said. I've never heard of them before even they really are famous, and now that I was able to meet them personally, I can't be more curious and co fused at the same time how everything happened. It somehow intrigued me and I might wanna figure the reason why.
"Why did you ask though? Is someone becoming fan now?" She cocked her brow and I shook my head.
"I don't think so. I just find it interesting. I've always been into music and that's maybe one of the reason why I want to hear a story from someone who's already has an incredible career in music."
