It didn't take long until we arrived at the diner. We just bid our goodbye and watched him leave like nothing's happened.

"Is that Clyde Anderson again?" Bea asked me as soon as I reached for the. I was almost an hour late but she decided to ask me that question before asking why I showed up late.

I didn't bother responding, and just gave her a short nod as I head to the staff's room and wear on my apron. I'm sure she'll ask me the same question she always have and I would give still give her same answer.

"Are you really sure you two are not dating?" Drake asked me this time, whom I realized was standing beside Bea the whole time.

"No, we're not dating. We're friends. Just friends." I said and they both exchange glances before looking back at me with a playful look.

"Not because you're friends means you cannot date him." Bea snapped. "We're talking about Clyde Anderson here, okay. Just who wouldn't fall for him?"

I roll my eyes and sent a bored look in their way. "We're just friends, and that's it. He's famous, I'm nobody. What other reason do you think explains why?"

"Your disposition in life has nothing to do about love. Clyde's not someone who'll look at girls like that." Our attention went over to Drake because of what he said.

"How'd you say so?"

"Ohh... are you a fan too?" Bea then asked him, sounding a little excited as she bumped his shoulder.

Drake bit on his lower lip as tilt his head on each sides. "I don't know if I should call myself a fan. I just listen to their songs. I guess that's how I should just put it." Bea and I both nod our heads.

"But how did you say it's not impossible for him to like Loraine?"

Drake paused for a while before a smile stretched across his lips. "I just feel like he does. I mean, Clyde's a nice person and you can tell it yourself, Loraine. So it's not impossible that he could date you."

I roll my eyes. "That's enough. I don't care what you guys have to think about it. I told you we're friends and that's it. You shouldn't be thinking about such." I said as I walk inside the kitchen without letting them say another word anymore.

I think I understand what makes them think Clyde and I are really dating. I just don't get why they keep insisting Clyde and I are dating when we're totally not. He's kind and very caring person that anyone could ask for a friend, and that's it. There's nothing between us. And besides I don't see myself dating Clyde. He's just a good friend to me, that's all.

.

My days had went on pretty much the same as my everyday routine. Although we had a lot of customers today, it actually helped me get rid of thinking and worrying about Alma and what would happened.

After work I went straight to my bed, feeling exhausted. Until now I still can't believe I was able to show up to my work despite having hang over. Should I be proud of myself now?

I start feeling my eyes about to close shut anytime soon when suddenly, I heard the knocking on the front door. Which made me rose from my bed as I start to had hard time thinking who it might be. I don't really have anyone whom I expect would dropped by here.

As soon as I made it through the front door, and pulled the door open, I was little shocked the moment I saw Rafa. We remain exchanging glances but the expression on his face doesn't seemed to change once but.

"What are you doing here?"

He shrugged. "Just tryna check on you." My brow raised as I look at him with unsure face. "You... were drunk last night. I just thought I of checking you if... you're okay."
