I couldn't stop thinking about the conversation I had with Matt yesterday that it made me come up with something that would totally makes sense for everyone. It's something that everyone would benefit. And just the thought itself excites me already.

When morning comes, I woke up early than my usual. I was feeling a lot more motivated than I had been these past few days.

I still have an hour left before my work which I purposely laid for an important matter.

After taking in some deep breaths, I shouldered my bag before pressing on the bell. And it didn't take long when the door finally opened. And with the same face I expected and he would always give me. It was blank. He doesn't seemed like he just woke up but the energy he's giving me is complete opposite from what I have today.

He's probably getting confused why I wasn't talking but I just remain looking at him straight in the eyes making him raised his brow as he glide his eyes from head to toe.

I'm looking fresh today I know. Obviously looking like someone who's about to go to work but decided to drop by on some guy's apartment for some serious matter she would discuss.

"Seriously? This early?" He spoke and I stood straight as I keep a serious face without averting my gaze.

"I want you to sing my song." My words surely had made him shocked as he pauses like he's trying to process what I just said.

He propped a hand on his wast, slowly tilting his head to the side. "What are you talking about?" He mumbles and I take a few steps close to him. And now I had to look up so I could still see his face.

"I'll make sure I'm gonna write a song and you have to promise you'll gonna have to sing it." A long silence had followed before a grin flashed across his lips as he run a finger through his jaw.

"The confidence." I heard him muttered while shaking his head in disbelief. "That's not gonna happen."

"I'm surely gonna make it happen." I told him. The grin on his face's slowly dropping in a confused one.

I didn't wait for another time to let him speak and just turn to my heel. But before I could even make a step, I looked at him one last time over my shoulders. "I'm gonna make you sing again." Was the last thing I said as I head off.

That's all I want to say to him. And I'm truly serious about it. It's note who would just benefit from this but also Rafa and his friends. It's a win-win situation. I mean, I know it'll take me a lot of work knowing that I have zero idea why he doesn't sings anymore but, that's exactly why I'm doing this.

The feelings I had inside gets lighter as I realize I was able to let him know what I want. And just thinking about it do excites me especially now that I can say I'm learning. Not to mention how I struggled these past few weeks, asking myself if I've made the right choice of leaving my hometown to pursue my dreams. But now that I have reason to keep me up with my passion gives me a lot of motivation than I had been before. It's not just to make Rafa get back to doing what he once loved doing but more importantly, to prove myself.

.

"You're a song writer?" Drake, the new waiter, asked me after I mentioned I do write songs. And I'm quite stunned to see his reaction.

"Aspiring writer. I think that's the right term for that. I'm not expert, you know. Still learning and going on through some process." I said with a chuckle but he shook his head.

"It doesn't matter. You write songs and that already amazed me."

"Thank you. I appreciate that." I've been acting humble but his words makes me really happy. A single compliment never fails to complete my day. I mean, I only get a few compliments with my writing. It doesn't matter how simple it is, I'm always grateful to hear those from someone who appreciates.
