After work, I decided to come to the recording studio. I already send my record right after the first time I've been to the studio, and yet I'm still not getting any updates. I haven't received any updates from Mr. Walters who assures me he'll consider me. I'm just hoping he really would be able to help me with this.

When I entered the building, it had been a lot more easier for me than the first time I was here, as the same woman from the information desk tells me I could meet Mr. Walters at the same room she instructed me.

I can't think how many times I suck in a deep breath before pushing the door open. But then the smile on my face dropped when I saw the sudden appearance of my Uncle who almost have the same reaction as me. At this point I shouldn't be surprised. I knew the chances I might see my Uncle again anytime but, I didn't really mind.

Just looking at him right now makes me think of what he's about to say to my face. He'll probably tell me the same thing and I will just gave him the same response to that.

"Uncle..." I started, almost a whisper. He looked back inside the room over his shoulder before closing the door behind him. I take a few step back when he looked at me seriously.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, with his brow knitted. "Didn't I told you not to come here?"

"But I guess you should know I won't give up on this easily. Uncle, I told you I'm gonna pursue my dreams. I wanted to become a song writer just like mom—"

"I don't care what your dreams are." He said and the calmest voice he could muster. It was obvious that he's refraining himself from actually raising his voice at me right now as he began massaging his temple. "Look, just go back to your father."

"What? No!" At this point I was trying to keep myself calm as possible as I could. "You can't just tell that to me. You know how much I wanted to become just like mum."

"Just like your mum huh?" He said with a snigger. "Well then go back to your father now. As far as I can recall, that guy's all that matters to him. She's got blinded by that stupid love and eventually chooses that guy over his dreams. How about that?" His words felt like a knife stabbing in my chest.

"Uncle—" I tried to grab his arm just after he walk past me but he withdrew it with a force making me almost lose my balance.

When he turns around, fury was evident on his face. "Didn't you hear what I said? I told you to go back to your father and don't ever come back. You and your works are not going anywhere. You get that?" Everything he said made me loose everything I've been wanting to tell him.

My feet where glued to where I was standing. And I was only staring at him the whole time he said those words to my face. I didn't pay attention as to how he raised his voice at me. The words itself is too much for me to take in.

"Now, leave. I don't wanna see your face here again." Was the last thing he told me before he started to walk away without letting me say anything else.

I wasn't aware how long it take me until I was able to processed everything that just happened. I swallowed hard and stated blinking my eyes as tears brimmed onto my eyelashes but I immediately wipe it before it could even fell.

I never knew how painful it sounds until I heard those things from someone I never imagine would say that to my face. I know I'm used of people belittling me and mostly my talent but I would always shrugged that. I always thought people didn't really know how it feels and I would only try to understand that. But this one hits different.  It felt much harder than I thought I would be.

After a while, I blink several times and start trying to compose myself. I shouldered my bag but just after turning into my heel and was about to walk out, I paused when I notice a guy standing at the end of the hallways. And I was surprised to realize it was him. I know for sure it was Rafa.
