I was busy taking orders when I notice Bea's been staring at me for I don't remember how long. This isn't what she would not ally act around and which makes me think why.

By the time I was done with the orders I was now able to shot her a look.

"Is everything okay? Do I have anything on my face?"

"Where have you been the other night?" She asked me instead like she haven't heard my question.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. But before I could even contemplate in my head what she trying to get at, she pulled out her phone and showed me a photo of me and Rafa at the bar the other night.

My initial reaction was shock but was more trying to refrain myself from smiling as I looked at the photo.

"How do you want to explain that one?" She spoke just after he slid her phone back her pocket. And for a moment, I had hard time thinking how should I put it without making it looked like the other way around.

"That was nothing. We just had a little drink that night."

"Then why didn't you tell me anything about it?"

"Well, I don't think it's still necessary. It's just a simple drink. You know it's part of the plan of getting him back to singing." I reasoned out which only made her raised her brow at me, and I quickly avert my gaze.

"Really?"

"Yeah." At this point, I couldn't look directly into her eyes. I know she got so many questions she liked to ask right now. Which I don't have answers yet.

A moment of silence had followed. And just when I thought Bea's done. She added. "Is this one still part of the plan?" She said while looking at the entrance. My brow knitted as I look over the entrance. And before I even realize it, I saw Rafa from outside.

I could hear Bea mumbling about something but my attention was drawn at Rafa the whole time. I don't know if he just moved too fast or maybe I wasn't really paying attention when the next time I realize, he's now standing infront of me.

He's looking a little different today. I don't know what it is exactly but I think it's good as it makes him looking good right now.

"Rafa?" I was looking at him, confused but he just smiled at me. "What are you doing here?"

"What else do you think a customer would do in a diner?"

"Right! Yeah, of course." I let out an awkward laugh as I look down at the computer infront of me. "Well, what is that you want?"

"Umm, I'll have one Loraine please." My heartbeat accelerated at what he said. I could feel Bea's fingers twisting at my back, tightens but didn't made me do nothing.

"What?" He chuckled while scratching the back of his neck.

"I... I'll just take out a Hawaiian pizza." I stare into his face but quickly avert my gaze when I realize how it's making me feel a little uneasy.

"Anything else?"

"Just your smile will do." I shut my eyes close before bringing it to him. I was supposed to look at him, confused but not until I saw him smiling. It was strange but that made me return the gesture.

"I'll just get your order." I hurried to the kitchen without waiting for his response. I didn't know how many times I had to take in some breath just so I could calm myself from how Rafa's making me feel.

I was totally surprised by his appearance. Everything was so sudden that he would show up and be talking strangely about anything.

When I finally able to regain my composure, I get back to the counter with his order.
