This is a hefty chapter, loves. And the first chapter that I'm actually proud of so enjoy <3

____________

"Get off your ass." Adora threw a pillow at her roommate. "And get dressed. We are going out."

Ana peeled the pillow off her face, turning her head on her own pillow. "Why?"

"Because." Adora shrugged "Oh, and wrap up warm. It's a cold one tonight."

"What? Where are you taking me?" Ana begrudgingly sat up in her bed.

"We are going to the game." Adora said as she searched her closet for another coat to put on.

Ana laughed before dropping the amusement off of her face. "No."

"Yes." Adora said, reaching in the closet and pulling out a large hoodie. "Now put this on, you're gonna need it."

The hoodie hit Ana in the face as she got off her bed.

It wasn't long until kick off as Ana and Adora found their seats in the stands. Ana could see the condensation of her breath, it was so cold. She visibly shivered, granting her an amused look from her best friend. She really didn't do cold. Ana had never been bothered to watch one of the rugby games before, but she was here to support Adora, who of course, was here to support Theo.

Ana was well aware of the fact that most schools didn't have proper stadium stands surrounding the rugby pitches in England, but it was just another reflection of St. Edwards' fortune. The pitch itself was lit up with bright floodlights, as if it was still light outside. She could appreciate the luscious green of the grass though.

The royal blue of St. Edwards team was warming up on the pitch below, expertly passing the ball to each other in various drills, as well as tackling tackle bags.

"What number is Theo?" Ana asked.

"Number twelve." Adora said, searching for his number on the pitch. As she found it, a smile grew on her face. She looked towards her best friend with a smirk. "Elijah is Number 10, and captain, in case you were wondering."

"I wasn't."

Adora hummed, a smile growing. "Sure."

"Who are they playing?" Ana asked, ignoring her best friends mischievous smile.

"Kings of Sussex." Adora responded, still craning her neck to get a better look at the pitch. "Usually a fairly tame game."

The game kicked off, and it didn't take the St. Edwards boys long to get close to their try line. Ana had a general understanding of Rugby, it was played in Italy. Her father and brother wouldn't watch it religiously, but the Six Nations tournament every year always sparked their interest, with Italy's international team playing against five other international teams from West Europe.

It wasn't long until half-time, before Theo miraculously made a break through the opposing teams line, handing off one of their players and diving over the try line, sliding at least a couple meters on the cold grass. His team mates rushed over to him, celebrating the try as Theo looked up into the stands, finding Adora. He winked at her with a cockey smile, dedicating the try to her and causing the people who were sat around us to turn and look at her.

Adora owned the attention and ignored all the stares, keeping her focus on the brunette boy who's smile only grew as the two looked at each other.

The whispers began around the pair of girls, the two of them hearing questions such as, "Is he looking at her?" Or "Are they dating?". Someone even whispered "So she's the one Theo's been so occupied with."
