Kayden pov
"Are you done with your sulking?" I finally addressed the elephant in the room.
On the chair opposite from me sat Jason aggressively punching keys on his laptop.
"Since when do you care about others?" He said angrily still not looking at me.
He had been acting like a child who was denied chocolate.
Like seriously, he had been this annoying version of him since morning."You are typing very loudly and that's bothering me." I said bored with this conversation.
"Oh, My apologies, I'm bothering your stapler throwing self." He said while feigning innocence.
Why does everything have to happen to me?
On one hand I had a mate who refused to give up and understand that I didn't want a mate and on the other hand a beta who acted like a fucking five year old when mad.
Someone save me.
The thought of Moonlight crossed my mind.
My plan seemed to be working.
Moonlight was staying close to me the entire day, this was making my wolf happy so I could work peacefully.
I sincerely would have appreciated it if she just rejected me and left but she was determined to stay.
I must say she was not bad company.
Actually, she was quite entertaining.
Suddenly, the door to my office slammed open and walked in my fuming mate.
Fuck me.
She seemed angry too.
God, I just couldn't catch a break.
I mentally started to prepare myself so I didn't end up saying something wrong in anger while she yelled at me.
But surprisingly she didn't storm towards me, she went straight towards Jason.
Wait, what?
Since when did they start talking?
I remembered that Jason was also annoyed about something and she looked like she would kill someone with the smallest incentive.
This was going to be entertaining.
I leaned back in my chair and crossed my arms waiting as I watched the scene unfurl in front of me.
Jason didn't turn around when Moonlight tapped on his shoulders.
She was already done with him so she took his laptop and slammed it shut and kept it aside.
Great.
The source of frustrating typing had been discarded.
She glared at Jason and he returned it with one his.
"Why did you lie to me?"
"Why did you ditch me?"
They both said at the same time.
I was amused just as much as I was confused.
I had no idea what they were going on about but this was some good entertainment.
