Aurora pov

I had spent the last few days ignoring Kayden.

I had only one thing to say about it.

It was hard.

So incredibly hard to ignore him.

I couldn't believe how attracted I was to him.

Even if I succeeded in getting him out of my mind, I would somehow run into him and he would again start infiltrating my thoughts.

It was like the universe was hell bent on shoving us together.

I mean there were so many co-incidences.

I walked into the gym, Kayden walked in at the same time.

I went downstairs in the middle of the night to grab some water and Kayden was there sitting in the dark like a fucking vampire.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was a werewolf vampire hybrid.

He isn't.

At the dinner table, I relished in the feeling as we reached for the same not once but thrice and other fingers touched.

It was addictive.

The little butterflies that went up my arm at the small contact.

That was how I realised that Kayden and I hadn't really come close to each other that much.

I mean we had never hugged or even cuddled, the closest thing to contact we had was the accidental touch while at dinner or while training.

I avoided him like the Plague.

He looked a bit shocked when I retracted my hand as if his touch was burning me.

It wasn't.

It was.... It was.... I had no words.

It was a completely foreign feeling.

Even though, Kayden never made an attempt to come close to me physically but I caught him glancing in my direction a number of times.

But he immediately looked away the second I caught him.

One more fact about our current status.

Still no one except William knows.

I didn't tell my father.

How was I supposed to start the conversation?

My instinct was screaming at me to turn back and walk away but I couldn't seem to move from my spot in front of my father's temporary office.

Kayden gave my father a temporary office and that's another level of fancy behaviour.

I tried to knock quietly at the door but it turned into more of a tune for a song.
