"Can't believe it's already morning..." I trail off as I was sitting in front of a fire, but then a groan sounds out behind me.
"Sounds like someone's awake." I add causing Damon, who was sitting beside me to look back at the Hunter that was tied to the tree.
"Is something bothering you?" Damon asks as he glances back at the hunter causing me to sigh.
"It's probably all the damn mosquitoes around." I answer as I look over to see the Hunter glaring at us.
"Aye, I mean how does it feel when a relentless eating machine draining the blood from your veins?" The Hunter questions causing me to chuckle.
"Usually itchy." Damon responds as he gets up.
"Your friends from Mystic Falls think you're funny, Damon?" The Hunter inquires causing me to furrow my brows at him. "Do Damon and him know each other?" I wonder as I stand up as well.
"You obviously know who I am and where I'm from. Have you been spying on me?" Damon quires as I narrow my eyes at the Hunter.
"Aye. I have. You and (Y/N), also Stefan and Elena, your Witch, Bonnie. You need her to do the spell written on your brother Jeremy's Hunter's Mark... A Tattoo that looks exactly like the one I have." The Hunter responds causing me to look over at the Tattoo on his arm.
"Who are you and why are you here?" Damon points out.
"My name is Galen Vaughn, I've been killing Vampires my entire life. Still, this thing refused to reveal itself to me. That was, until 3 days ago, and it just magically completed for no apparent reason." The Hunter made known. "Does that mean when we completed Jer's Mark the other Hunter's Marks were completed as well?" I wonder as I stared at the tied up Hunter.
"Just how many people are on this freaking Island..." I trail off.
"I can help you both if you let me." Galen insist causing Damon and I look over at each other with concerned expressions.
(To Elena)
"Tell me you're not serious." Caroline's voice rang out from her phone.
"I wish I weren't. When we got back from looking for Jeremy, Shane and Bonnie were both gone, too. Shane needs Bonnie to cast a spell on Jeremy's Tattoo in order to find the Cure, and he managed to sneak them both out from under our noses." Elena informs as she, Rebekah and Damon were standing on the beach.
"Where is (Y/N) in all this?" Caroline asks.
"We had an argument. Now we can't find her or Damon and when we went to the beach, we saw signs of a struggle." Elena answers causing Caroline's eyes to widen.
"Meaning what?" Caroline questions.
"Meaning somebody probably jumped them and then grabbed both of them." Elena responds.
"Do you think Shane took them?" Caroline inquired.
"No, I mean, he's not strong enough to take Damon and (Y/N) on, even with the element of surprise. He must have someone or at least a few someone helping him." Elena replies.
"I am so sorry. I wish I was there to help." Caroline regretted.
"Well, maybe there's something you can do from home." Elena states.
"Anything, tell me." Caroline insists.
"So Shane's looking for the Cure. We think we can find him. We have pictures of Jeremy's tattoo, but we just can't translate the Map." Elena clarified.
"Unless you get the Hunter's sword from Klaus." Caroline conceded.
"Exactly." Elena concurred.
"He'll never give up the sword." Rebekah points out.
