I stare up at the ceiling and laying in my bed that I had longed for all summer, but I couldn't sleep or even feel comfortable from the thought roaming around my head. "God, I can't stop thinking about it!" I think as I sit up in my bed only to hear an alarm go off causing my eyes to widen. "Oh yeah, School. I kinda forgot I'm a High School student thanks to Klaus." I think, while getting up and getting ready for School. Once finished I walked down the stairs and down to the kitchen and begin making coffee. "It feels as if nothings really changed, but its actually the complete opposite." I think causing me to let out a sigh.

"(Y/N) You're back." A voice I know all to well states causing me to look up to see my little brother with a smile.

"Yeah, finally." I smile back at him, but he walks over to me and about suffocates me in a hug. "Jer, your gonna suffocate me." I finally manage to say.

"Oh, sorry." Jeremy apologizes as he lets go of me and I'm finally able to breathe, the coffee machine then goes off causing Jeremy to quickly turn and grab two cups out of the cabinet.

"Jer, I can get it-" I was interrupted by him shaking his head.

"This is the least I can do, (Y/N)." Jeremy insists as he pours the coffee and puts all the stuff I like in it and hands it to me.

"Thank you, Jer." I thank and he nods.

"I'm glad your back, it wasn't the same around here without you." Jeremy insists causing me to giggle, but then my phone goes off causing me to look at it.

"I'm here, let's go. Can't be late for our first day of Senior Year!" Caroline's text read causing me to sigh.

"Who is it?" Jeremy asks with a serious expression, but I quickly shake my head.

"Don't worry it's Caroline, she's here so I better get going. I'll see you later, Jer." I answer, while gathering my stuff and he nods.

"See you, (Y/N)." Jeremy responds and I make myself outside to see Caroline standing against her car and she turned to me and her eyes widened.

"Well look at you, (Y/N)." Caroline states as she looks me up and down causing me to look at her with confused expression.

"What do you mean?" I ask as I look around to see if there was something I wasn't seeing, but she then laughs as she walks over to me.

"Nevermind, I missed you soo much girly!" Caroline chirps as she latches onto me if a tight hug.

"Vampire strength, Vampire strength." I whisper causing her to quickly unlatch herself from me.

"Sorry, are you okay?" Caroline asks and I nod.

"Yeah, I think my rips are okay." I tease causing her to groan.

"That's not funny, (Y/N)!" Caroline insists causing me to laugh. Beginning to pinch me, Caroline causes my laugh to cease.

"Okay, okay, I get it." I declare, which makes her stop.

"Let's go before we're late." Caroline insists and we begin walking over to her car.

(Time Skip)

Here we are. Senior year." Caroline states, while we all stare at the School.

"Anyone else think this should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asks looking over at us.

"Maybe for normal Seniors." I answer causing everyone to look over at me and Elena even glares at me. "Too soon, Elena?" I think with a smug expression on my face as I glare back at her.
