The Reclamation Of Trost II

Squad Leader Elinor had joined Seje and Sera. They had learned that the two soldiers with her had gotten killed only after a few minutes of battle.

"Seje you think you can hold out for a few minutes while Sera and I fetch reinforcements?" Elinor asked.

"Yes ma'am," Seje replied with a salute.

"Good, now let's go Sera!" Elinor leaped off of the roof and flew around some buildings.

"Good luck," Sera said. She jumped off the rooftop they stood on as well. The two were headed towards the back gate, where the soldiers and cadets were. With the search squad taken out, titans could easily get to Eren.

Seje looked toward the front gate. Eren's titan form was nearly to the breach. But it looked to be staggering, tiring under the great weight of the coarse boulder.

He jumped down onto the ground and began to run towards where his squad had stashed supplies. He was beginning to run low on gas and blades.
He sprinted towards the crate, jumping over a scattered pile of debris.

Seje crouched down by the small brown crate, his boots skidding across the ground roughly. He began to grab blades from the crate and replace them into his scabbard. One, two, three, four, five, he was picking up the sixth one when a titan appeared from behind him. It was 8m tall. The titan stood lankily, grinning at Seje.

Seje looked up at the titan, it looked so relaxed. The titan brought it's hand back above it's head and swung it at Seje. Seje backflipped away from the hand, the wind rushing by him as the hand missed. As Seje landed he stood up and ducked under a blade that flew past his head.

The titan had destroyed the supply crates. Seje felt something tug at his shirt, he pulled at it. He heard a rip and his jacket fell off of his body, in two pieces. The titan began to get back up and stumble toward Seje. I have to get as far away as possible, or I'm dead, Seje thought.

Seje shot a hook and glided around the titan. The titan turned and reached out, but Seje boosted away using gas. Seconds later, he fell to the ground and rolled across the ground. He remembered he was low on gas. He had just ran out.

The titan swung its hand at him again, this time, Seje jumped over by the hair on his skin. He fell over. As he tried to get back up, he heard a giant roar from the front of the city. A huge rumbling noise followed. The gate had been sealed, he couldn't die now. Seje got back up and began to run toward the front of the city.

The titan chasing him grabbed him now, he couldn't escape. But,
Seje wriggled his sword free of the titan's grip and cut off the titan's fingers. Seje fell, and landed on the floor.

The titan began to swing its arm and Seje sat there waiting for death. He heard a 3DMG being operated nearby. He opened his eyes and the titan fell past him. It's large body steaming as it began to evaporate.

A girl came down from the sky. She was wearing a cloak, it was from the Scouting Legion.

"Hi," she said, "I'm Team Leader Carter!"

Seje glanced up at her, "Seje Amarillo of the 104th Trainee Corps, Southern Rose Division," he said.

"Nice to meet you," Squad Leader Carter said.

She helped Seje up and pulled a pack off of her back. She opened up the top and pulled out two gas canisters. She handed them to Seje and walked off to join what looked like the infamous Captain Levi, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Garrison Captain Rico, and a few other people.

Seje dropped his empty gas canisters on the ground and walked over to where Mikasa was carrying Eren. "Mikasa," he said, "What happened at the front gate, where are the elite squads?"

"They're gone," Mikasa replied.

The man who looked like Captain Levi walked up to the front of the group of people. "For those of you who don't know me, I am Captain Levi," he said, "We Scouts are going to help you Elites retreat." With that, Captain Levi flew into the distance, killing any titan that dared to face him. The rest of the group followed.

They were about halfway to inner Wall Rose, when Levi signaled the group to stop. Scattered around the rooftops were the dead bodies of about 7 people.

Seje walked past Armin, who was looking down sadly. Seje crouched in front of one of the decimated bodies. It was the body of Elinor Tavia, the Leader of the Squad Seje and Sera were in.

Captain Rico walked up beside Seje. She spoke, "Elinor was your squad leader. What happened?"

Seje looked to Rico, "Our original Squad was low on numbers, she took Sera to get reinforcements and told me to hold position."

"I see, good work Cadet."

Rico walked off. Seje remembered suddenly, Sera went with Squad Leader Elinor. Seje ran across the rooftops in panic, looking at all the dead bodies.

Dark red hair, dark red hair, he thought. He had looked at 6 people, no one looked like Sera. Seje looked at the edge of the rooftop there was a body with blood oozing from the neck. The person had been decapitated by a titan. His heart jumped in thought that it was Sera, before seeing The Garrison crest patched onto the sleeve of the dead person.

He relaxed for a moment and sat down, looking at the ground below. Seje froze, under a damaged building across from him, Sera laid. He began coughing, tears coming up to his eyes. A girl with orange hair came over to him, "Are you okay?" She asked.

"No, no, it's her my friend she- was with these people. I didn't see her at first bu- b-" Seje stuttered.

"I'm sorry," she said.

She walked off, Seje followed her. Before he rejoined the group, he took one last glance at Sera. She looked as if she had been crushed by falling debris.
There were several big rocks scattered around her. Blood leaked from her ear, nose, mouth, and several cuts along her body. Her foot was stuck under a larger rock.

Seje looked away, wanting to forget that horrible pool of blood around his friend. As he walked away the only thing he could think of was, Elite Squad 5, in charge of Titan sighting. Sera Vivra, of the 104th Trainee Corps in the Southern Rose division, perished heroically in battle.
