"The formation is remade but we're a lot closer together, some groups are even mashed together entirely," Carter explained. The formation and positions had been organized by teams. Several of the right and left wing squads had been put on scout duty or defense duty. The supply carts traveled in the middle of the group. Seje looked around the green plains, the sun was setting.

"We've only been out here a few hours..." Seje said sadly.

"Yea, and we already managed to lose a ton of our forces," Zane, another member of Carter's Team, said.

"Speaking of losing forces, titans are running at us from behind," Seje noted.

"Don't worry about it, they'll lose steam," Zemia, a team member, assured him.

Seje looked around at the team, when they had left there had been 17 people, 2 had died. A small number to spare. He didn't know how many more would die though.

Titans had begun to appear, the man next to Seje named Jameon shot off a red flare. Seje looked ahead to see a pair of titans. Carter signaled for Vlas to help her take care of them. She jumped off of her horse and shot a hook directly into one of the titan's ankles. She didn't take out the ankle though, instead she swung behind the titan and released the hook. She reattached a hook at the titan's shoulder and flew up. She slashed the titan's nape off seconds before Vlas took down the one he was dealing with.

The team had begun to approach a small town. Carter sent Vlas to scout around. Seje wondered if this is where the yellow flare had come from earlier. Nia confirmed his thoughts aloud. Carter didn't respond, probably not wanting to cause panic. The team rode for a minute more before Vlas came riding back to them.

"There's a crawling titan!" He yelled from meters in front of the group.

"Everyone slow down now, but keep moving!" Carter ordered, the team obeyed.

"Seje go ahead of us, kill it," Carter commanded.

Seje turned in shock, "What?! Me?!"

"He can't, mom! He'll die he has no skill!" Nia protested.

"It's not about skill, it's about style! He swings wide which will trick the crawler, and then he curves around the nape very quickly! It wont have any time to respond!"

"Mom!"

"Seje! You have to! It's our best chance! If you fail, we'll die. It will reach the center formation and that's the end."

"I'll do it," Seje said, riding off ahead of the group, towards the more crowded part of the town.

Seje positioned himself on his horse, ready to jump off. "This must be the titan that killed Lauri and Marco, I will avenge them," He said. Seje jumped off of his horse and shot a hook into a building, he swung around the building and advanced deeper into the town. He came by a row of buildings nearby a crushed tree. There it was.

Back where the team was, Victor and Mina rode ahead slightly. "I'm worried about Seje," Victor said. Mina agreed. The two hoped in the event of an emergency they would be able to save Seje.

Seje crouched on a rooftop down the street from the crawling titan, it was big. He looked around him, other titans were approaching, he had to act fast. "OVER HERE YOU BIG IDIOT!" He yelled at the crawler. The crawler turned and snarled at him. Seje jumped off of the rooftop and shot a hook into a tower to his right, and a building to his left. He jumped on the side of a building as the crawler began to charge towards him.

Seje ran across the building sideways almost, his hooks attached to nearby buildings to give him the advantage. The crawler's brown eyes became small as its eyes opened wide. Seje knew the crawler was about to jump.
