Seje sat down at the table and began eating his bread, "Okay, Carter, you seriously have some explaining to do."

"I agree, what the hell," Nia said.

"Why would I have to explain anything to you?" Carter asked

"Because they took all the other 104th graduates out of the building, we haven't gotten any news about the expedition, and a ton of people died," Seje retorted.

"And when you saw that titan running towards the center of the formation, you flipped and almost got killed," Nia added.

"Fine, fine, fine," Carter said, "What do you want to know."

"What was the situation of the expedition, from start to finish?" Seje asked.

"Right," Carter began, "Well basically, a intelligent titan lead a shit load of aberrant titans over to the right wing scout squads. She then continued to journey inwards toward the center of the formation."

"Why the center?" Nia asked.

"That's where Eren was, you see the expedition was a giant trap with Eren as bait. Set up by Commander Erwin. They led her into the forest and captured her, until the titans ate her and she escaped. Then went on to kill the elite squad."

"What was the cost?" Seje asked sadly.

"Several recruits from the north division, and countless scouts on the right wing," Carter answered.

"How did Commander Erwin know?" Seje wondered aloud.

"Remember two weeks ago when the two titans Sonny and Bean were killed by an unknown person? Well, Commander Erwin knew that someone traitorous to the military did it. Someone trained with maneuvering gear. He also noticed that the attack on Trost halted when Eren was revealed as a titan. So, he figured the goal of the enemy was to capture Eren. He's very smart you know."

"Who attacked us?" Nia asked.

"A female type titan, who had intelligence obviously, you saw her," Carter explained, "But, Armin Arlert, Reiner Braun, and Jean Kirstein encountered and fought her."

"How did they live?!" Seje exclaimed.

"Armin used Eren's nickname from the 104ths," Carter said plainly.

"Suicidal bastard?" Nia asked, "But that explains nothing."

"The Female Titan stopped, this indicated her goal was clearly Eren," Carter paused, "Also that she was from the 104ths. Armin also noted in his report that after he told Reiner that Eren was in the center of the formation, Reiner fought but escaped the female titan. After that, she headed straight for the center."

"No way, is that why most of the 104ths were sent away?" Seje inquired.

"Yes, precisely," Carter answered, "Erwin figures the traitors entered 5 years ago and joined the military with the 104ths."

"Who all stayed?" Nia asked.

"Hmm," Carter thought for a second, "Armin, Mikasa, and Eren, for obvious reasons. Then, Mikey, they figure he's too young to do anything. Also, Jean, since we need him for something. Finally, you two since I was able to personally vouch for you Seje, and Nia, you're my daughter."

"So, wait Eren fought the female titan, I heard the screams, what happened there?" Nia questioned.

"He fought her after the death of Levi's Elite Squad, but he lost. Luckily, Mikasa and Levi retrieved him," Carter sighed, "But, Levi was slightly injured."

"That's not bad, unless, you said we needed Jean's help. Are we going to attempt to capture the female titan?!" Seje asked fearfully.

"Yes," Carter said.

"How?! We don't even know who she is! Or where she is!" Nia exclaimed.

"Not true," Carter countered, "She is in the Military Police, when we pass through the Stohess District while bringing Eren back to the Capitol, she'll be there."

"Military Police?" Seje asked, "So who is she then?"

Carter sighed, "Annie Leonhart, #4 graduate in your divison."

Nia and Seje gasped.

"No way," Nia choked.

"So, what's the plan for capturing her then? Assuming it IS her. I really can't see her doing this," Seje asked.

"Once we enter Stohess, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa, will pretend to be escaping Stohess. They will act like they need her help to get out. They will lure her into an underground tunnel, Team 2 will be here, just in case she refuses and things go south." Carter paused, "Then, she will go into the tunnel where we, Team 3, will intercept her. If it all goes well, we give her to Team 4 who will interrogate her."

"What about Team 1?" Nia asked.

"Team 1 will be with Jean, who will be posing for Eren by the way, making sure that the Military Police stay distracted." Carter explained.

"What happens if things go wrong." Seje asked.

"Glad you asked," Carter said eerily, "So, Team 2 will attempt to stop her. Then, we will intercept Mikasa, Eren, and Armin. Team 4 will distract her and lead her towards traps set up by Team 5, or 6. If she gets by those, several other teams will be positioned around to stop her. While Teams 11, 12, 13, and 14 will be evacuating people if she does go titan."

"Glad to know we're prepared," Nia commented.

"I still wish we didn't have to lose all those people during the expedition," Seje said.

"It's not worth nothing, Seje," Carter reassured him, "Their deaths will be avenged."
