Investigating

They stood beside each other and watched the door open and saw a man dressed as a janitor and stop walking.

"Uh-oh" Zoey sighed.

"What? It's only the janitor"

"That's not the janitor"

"What?"

"Hey dad" Zoey said, with worry.

Ben looked at Zoey.

"Zoey Anne Deeks, you are so grounded"

"Dad, please.. Let us help"

"What did you do? Change your clothes and hide your phones so you can't be found"

"Yeah"

"Go to class"

"We are late. If we go, the teacher will wonder where we were and we will get detention for being late. Just let us help now and when the bell goes, we will go to class"

"Fine but wear gloves" Deeks said as he handed them gloves.

Zoey and Ben put on the gloves and started looking.

"Where's mom?"

"Office" Deeks said as he looked through his computer.

"How did she get in?" Ben asked.

"Undercover as a substitute"

Zoey looked at a picture that was in a drawer.

"Dad,  found something" Zoey said as she walked to Deeks.

She handed Deeks the picture and he looked at it. It was a picture of Blake and his family

"Is that his family" Zoey asked.

"Maybe"

Deeks took a picture of it and the bell rang.

"Go to class"

Zoey and Ben looked at each other and walked out.

"You got your keys?" Zoey asked.

"Yeah, why?"

Zoey held his hand and ran outside.

"Where are we going?"

"Blake's house"

They got into his car and Ben started the car.

"How do you know his address?"

"I found it in one of his drawers" Zoey said as she handed him a piece of paper.

Ben started driving.

"I can't believe I'm blowing off the whole day for you"

"Not the whole day, we went to first period"

Ben looked at Zoey and smiled. They arrived at a large house.

"We're here"

"This is his house. This is huge"

"Well, If I ever become a drug dealer and I become very rich, I will buy you the biggest house possible"

Zoey smiled and got out of the car and walked into the house, followed by Ben.

"The door is open"

"Is he home?"

Zoey took out her gun from her waistband and cleared all the rooms.

"It's clear"

"You still have a gun"

"It's for protection"

Zoey looked through the house and opened a door and saw boxes of cash and drugs in a room.

"Ben" Zoey called.

Ben walked over to her and looked into the room.

"Woah"

Suddenly the door opened and Callen and Sam ran in with their guns in their hands.

"This day can't get any worse"

"What are you doing here?" Callen asked.

"Uh- work"

"No, we are working, you should be working in school"

"Please don't tell mom and dad"

"They are going to know"

Zoey sighed.

"Find anything at school?" Callen asked.

"You know?"

"Of course we know"

"We found something" Zoey said, trying to avoid anymore talk about school.

"What?"

Zoey and Ben walked to the room and showed Callen and Sam.

"I'll look around here, you bring Zoey and Ben to ops" Callen said to Sam.

Sam looked at Zoey and Ben.

"Wouldn't it be better if we just went back to school?" Zoey asked.

"No" Sam said.

"But Ben doesn't have clearance for ops"

"It doesn't matter"

"Out to the car" Sam said.

"What about my car?" Ben asked.

"We'll get it later"

They got into the car and drove to ops. Sam, Zoey and Ben arrived at ops and walked inside. They walked into the bullpen.

"Sit" Sam told Zoey and Ben.

Zoey and Ben sat down at Kensi and Callen's desk.

"Stay here" Sam said.

Sam walked out and left Zoey and Ben in the bullpen.

"I am in so much trouble" Zoey said.

"Your family is so cool"

Zoey looked at Ben and smiled.

"It's hard"

Suddenly Hetty walked into the bullpen.

"Ah yes, Ms Deeks, it is hard"

"But I wouldn't have it any other way"

Hetty smiled.

"Now, you don't think that you are going to get away with skipping school, do you?"

"Uh-no"

"You will be working with Eric ad Nell and your parents will punish you later"

Zoey nodded her head and she walked up to ops, followed by Ben.

They walked into ops and Ben was impressed by the room.

"This is so cool" Ben said.

Zoey and Ben walked over to Eric and Nell.

"Hey guys, We've to help you guys"

"Alright well you can uh- get a chair and help" Nell smiled.

Zoey and Ben got chairs and sat down. After a while, Eric and Nell got something.

"Got something... And it's not good" Eric said.

"I'll call the guys" Nell said as she looked at the screen.
