When Edward told them he ended things with Bella and that they should move so she won't come after them in hopes to turn. Katherine held her son as she felt Jasper put his arms around her. She smiled as she knew they were leaving and going away from the drama named Bella Swan. "I have everything packed."
"Just think, in sixteen years from now, we will be here with Lucas and his mate as Edward meets his." She tells him. "I may not see, but she can't hear."
"Was she born..."
"No, Carlisle, I don't know how it happened, but I know when she meets him, she is deaf. It could be an aging thing too." She tells them. "But that's another story in our lives when we meet her. For now, let's focus on what we are doing."
Jasper looked at Carlisle who nodded. She was right. Edward's mate is another story and he wasn't going to pressure the newborn for answers. They had to go and fast. A new start for the Cullens and Hales.
