My alarm clock rings and it's 9 o'clock
I walked out of my room with a smile because I knew today was going to be a great day
I saw Beth and Viv having breakfast at the table
It's now 9:45 and I'm on my way
Beth: "Where are you going so early?"
Elena: "I have a breakfast date"
Viv: "But Leah isn't even awake yet?"
Elena:,,Who's talking about Leah? I'm going with Jayme"
Beth: "Who is Jayme?"
Elena: "I'll tell you later I have to go now, wish me luck"

Leah's Pov
I woke up and looked at my phone
it was around 12 am.
I walked out of my room and was about to make myself some coffee when I saw Beth, Viv and Katie all at the table talking about a serious topic
Leah: ,,good morning what are you talking about?"
Viv: "Morning"
Beth: "I just don't believe her"
Katie: "No one does"
Leah: "Who do you don't belive?"
Viv: "No one it's just..."
Beth: "Elena"
Leah: "Right where is she?"
Katie: "on a breakfast date with some girl"
Leah: "wow how romantic"
Viv: "Yeah"
Leah: "What don't you believe?"
Beth: "That she's over you, you two are just..."
Katie: "Soulmates"
Leah: "Well, as you can see, we are not"
Beth: "I think she's forcing herself to date someone else to get over you"
Suddenly the door opened
Elena:,,Phew I thought it was summer why is it raining all the time?"
Beth: "Hey how was it?"
Elena: "How was what?"
Beth: "Your date"
Elena:,,Uhhh my date haha....she friendzoned me"
Viv: "Haha she has what?"
Elena:"not funny seriously"
Katie: "Wait wait wait to get that in my head someone resisted Elena Rodriguez?"
Elena: "I told you she was different"
Elena: "But she somehow, really, I'm not lying, I felt a connection between us."
Beth: "Are you in love?"
Elena: "No god no but something was there"
Katie: "Are you alright?"
Elena:"yeah it's just...she had beautiful brown eyes"
Leah: "She's definitely in love"
Elena: "No, I'm really not, but she was really hot"
Beth: "You really only care about looks"
Elena: "Hey that's not true"
Beth gave her the 'sure?' view
Elena: "yeah whatever What are we going to do tonight?"

Viv's Pov
we agreed on a movie night and me, beth and katie had a plan
we're going to watch a movie and then we'll all just slowly leave leaving Leah and Elena alone hoping they'll talk or maybe do more...
Aren't we great friends?

Elena's pov
it was now 10 and we all met in the living room.
we have an armchair, a couch for 2 people and one for 4.
Viv: "Well me and Beth take the big one because we want space"
Katie: "I'll go to my chair like always"
great now i have to share this fucking little couch with leah
Leah: "Looks like we don't even have a choice then"
Elena: "yeah..."
I was kind of excited my heart was 180 and I don't know why
Leah: "You good?"
She Said laughing.
Elena:,,mmh?...yeah completely"
Honestly no.
We sat so close together that I could already feel her breathing dude HAAHAH.
There was such a tension there.
I couldn't take it anymore.
I gave Beth the 'help me' look several times but she always responded with a smile.
I even texted viv on her phone.

I tried just staring at the movie but whenever she moved her hands I felt it everywhere
She looked over at me once and god even when it's dark those eyes shine.
Elena: "I'm going to sleep... I'm tired"
Beth: "Hey dude, you can't"
She said as I was just getting up.
Elena: "Why?"
Viv: "yeah okay let her sleep"
Beth gave Viv an 'I'll kill you' look and I couldn't understand anything.
Elena: "okayyyyy"
I said, turned around slowly and walked into my room.
Viv: "Wait, I'm coming with you"
Elena: "Are you coming to sleep?"
Viv: "Something similar"
We went to my room and I jumped on my bed.
Elena: "What do you want to do?"
Viv: "Talk to you about your message"
Elena: "Oh my..."
I said, rubbing my face.
Viv: "Elena look...you don't have to if you don't want to"
Elena: "yeah no, it's okay ...talk"
Viv: "I think you're looking for Leah in every person you meet and that won't work."
Elena: "Yes, but being with Leah doesn't work either."
Viv: "Right...but only because you force it"
Elena: "I just want Leah...and she wants Jordan, I'm not going to let someone hurt me when I already know the answer. Why should I take any step forward when she keeps going back?"
Viv: "I don't think she wants Jordan"
Elena: "They freshly broke up viv..."
Viv: "I think Leah just wanted to find a replacement for you and if you don't know it yet, they broke up because they realized they were better off as friends."
Elena: "Me and Leah are better off as friends too"
Viv: "You tell yourself that because you're afraid of getting hurt"
Elena: "and I have every right to it"
Viv: "But it only hurts you because you have feelings for Leah and she was with someone else"
Elena: "yeah...I live my life, she lives her life and everything is great"
Viv: "But imagine how great it could be if you could live a life together"
This answer completely knocked me out.

Leah's POV
I heard voices from Elena's room so she was probably talking to Viv about her super great date.
Beth: "tell me"
After a long silence I answered.
Leah: "Tell you what?"
Beth: "Jordan"
She said, pausing the movie.
Katie: ,,Hey!It just got exciting"
Beth: "Shut up Katie"
Leah: "I don't know...I just felt comfortable with her."
Beth: "You would have too with Elena"
Leah: "ughhh that name will haunt me forever"
Beth: "I just don't get it... your life could be so simple and perfect but you always ruin it for yourself"
This went on for over an hour.
A completely pointless conversation that leads to nothing.... standard.

Elena's POV
Viv: "I bet you wouldn't last a day without Leah"
Elena: "What are we betting on?"
Viv: "If you manage to ignore Leah for 3 days, I'll leave you alone with the Leah topic forever and you can bring whatever person you want home with you."
Elena: "deal"
Viv: "hey hey hey...but if I win...you talk to Leah"
I looked at her...she looked at me.
Elena: "Deal"
