As I watched her leave, I noticed how carefree life was with her.
She brought out my inner child, I could be myself next to her. Always.
I feel like I've lost the other side of my life. It felt like boiling water was pouring over my heart.
I walked into the booth and everyone was laughing except her.
She sat there with her head resting on her hand.
She looked empty, empty but also hurt.
The worst thing was that my seat was directly opposite and I was sitting right next to Lia because we both start with L.
Lia: "Hey, I talked to your mom and she invited me today"
I was in thought
Lia: "Leah?"
Leah: "yeah okay"
The way she said it extra loud so Elena could hear it.
And she heard it.
You could see it in her eyes and the way she set her jaw.
Suddenly Jana sat down next to Elena.
Jana nudged her.
Jana: "Hello"
she looked at Jana.
Elena: "Can you take me out of here and drive me home?"
She whispered but you could hear it.
Jana is good for her, she is there for her no matter when.
I'm sure Jana wouldn't cheat on her.
Lia: "Elena, what's wrong?"
Elena: "Go to hell"
Lia: "Did I do something?"
Elena: "Lia don't fuck with my peace just because you can't find yours"
Lia: "You don't look like you're at peace"
Leah: "Lia"
Elena: "Because you took it from me"
she laughed
Jana: "Okay, come down, I'll drive you"
Lia: "bye"
Lia said provocatively
Jana and Elena went out.
Leah: "What was that supposed to mean?"
Lia: "I was just protecting you"
Leah: "before what?"
Lia: "Elena"
Leah: "Thanks, but I can do that myself"

Elena's POV
I went out and threw my water bottle on the ground.
Jana: "Hey Hey Hey Elena"
She said and hugged me from behind
Jana: "I'm here"
It's that easy to get replaced.
Jana: "Finally tell me what's supposed to happen"
Elena: "Leah kissed Lia yesterday"
........
Jana: "She has something?"
Elena: "kissed Lia"
Jana: "Now that makes sense"
Elena: "No...nothing makes sense"
Jana: "Come on, I'll drive you home"
Elena: "My home is in there, with someone else"
There was silence for a short while.
Elena: "I just want to be in her arms... I love this woman with every vein in my body and I finally want to go home but I feel like my home has been taken away from me."
Jana: "Elena...she kissed Lia...that was her free decision"
Elena: "No...no she would never do something like that..."
Jana: "But she has"

Jana's POV
I've never seen Elena so broken.
I hugged her.
I could smell her perfume.
Elena could never love me the way she loves Leah, but if she loved me that way I would never have done what Leah did.
Leah has no idea how lucky she is...
Jana: "Get in the car, I left my bag in there."
She got in the car and I went inside.
You can guess 10 times who was standing in the hallway, right Leah.
Leah: "How is she?"
I went into the cabin without answering, got my bag and went out again.
Leah: "Please tell me Jana"
Jana: "You want me to tell you something, fine, I'm telling you the truth, Leah fuck you, you doesn't deserve her and I wonder why she loves you but she does it with every vein in her body.
Fuck Lia and be happy, but then I hope for you that you die because of it."
Leah:,,.....you still love her"
Jana: "....And I wish she would love me back...because I would never do something like that to her"
I went out and got in the car.

Elena's POV
The worst thing is that I still live with Viv, Katie, Beth and of course Leah, which means I always have to see them.
It makes me want to vomit when I think about her bringing Lia home.
Jana invited me out.
Elena: "Thank you...for everything"
She nodded.
Jana: "I love you... you don't have to answer anything, I just wanted you to know"
I nodded and went inside.

Leah's POV
I didn't want Lia to come with me.
I would have preferred to go alone.
Jacob: "Hey, happy belated birthday"
I laughed
Jacob: "Where is Elena, I wanted to show her my new aquarium"
He said happily.
Jacob: "Oh who are you?"
Lia: "Lia"
Jacob: "Nice to meet you" he said and they shook hands.
Jacob: "So where is my favorite buddy"
Leah: "Tired"
He frowned.
Jacob: "That's a lie Leah, Elena would come herself if she was tired"
Lia: "They broke up"
There was silence
Jacob: "Is what your friend says true?"
Lia: "I'm not your friend, I'm your girlfriend"
She didn't say that, that's not even true.
He looked at me disappointed.
Jacob: "What did you do?"
Leah: "Nothing-"
Lia: "She kissed me yesterday, Elena found out and broke up afterwards"
Jacob: "I'm going, it was great meeting you"
he said disgustedly.
He walked through the door wherever he is.

Jacob's POV
I couldn't believe my ears.
Three things
Number 1: Why does Leah do this?
Number 2: this new girlfriend is terribly bad
and number 3: why doesn't anyone see how Elena is doing?
I got in my car and drove to Elena and Leah's apartment.
I rang the bell, no one opened the door for me, I rang the bell again, no one opened the door for me.
I called Elena.
she answered
Elena: "Hey mate, do you need anything?"
Jacob: "Yes, you have to open the door for me"
Elena: "Oh, that's you... Sure, you're fine?"
Jacob: "Yeah, I'll tell you right away"
She opened the door for me.
She looked really tired.
I hugged her.
Jacob: "I'm sorry"
Elena:,,Hey mate tell me what's going on? I'm here for you"
Jacob: "Leah told me... well, her girlfriend... I couldn't believe my ears, how could she do that to you?"
Elena: Oh, they're together? "Earlier it was said that Leah had no feelings for her."
Jacob: "Yes, she really looked like that but... what was her name again?"
Elena: "Lia"
Jacob: "Lia said that she is her girlfriend"
Elena: "Oh, I didn't know that"
Elena is like a sister to me.
We had so much fun, we gossiped about Lia, Elena declared her love for Leah to me and God, I don't even love my wife that much, we played Fifa and ordered pizza.
Elena was just about to tell me funny children's stories about the two of us when Leah and Lia came in.
She can't be serious now, can she? I thought it was enough that it was replaced so easily and cheaply, but this?
Leah: "Here you are, mum called you 10,000 times"
Jacob: "Whatever you can go to your room with your girlfriend"
Leah: "Jacob please"
Jacob: "Go, I'm having fun here"
She went to her room.
Elena: "Bro I haven't managed to replace her in 5 years and she does it within a few hours"
Jacob: "You deserve better...wait, what was her name?" Jana?"
Elena: "yeah, she's cool but friendly"
We talked for another 2 hours until I left so Mum wouldn't think I was dead.
I hugged her.
Jacob: "I'm here for you, you'll do it"
Elena: "Thank you"
