bye kit, mental health, and some intense kissing

It's the time of Christmas now, the scratches are now gone, and everything seems to be perfect, well apart from my mental health that's been kinda bad,  kits been trying to get me to talk about to him but I won't, I don't want him to worry.

Kits going to Canada to see his parents, they moved there a few months before me and kit started dating. He's going to see them in two days, and he's coming back on the 23rd, I don't want him to go, I know he hasn't seen them in ages but I hate being by myself and it's going to be strange without him here

"Hey riv, what do you want for dinner?" Kit asks
"I don't know, I'm not hungry," I say ingrosed in my phone
"River, you haven't eaten all day, you said that over an two hours ago, ive aready eaten, you can't be on your phone all day"
I don't listen
"River"
I carry on texting
"River, are you listening?" he asks
"What?" I say

Kit takes my phone from my hands and puts it on the floor, and he sits on the sofa next to me
"You need to eat," he says
"I'm fine. I'm not hungry, " I snap
"Hey, don't snap at me," Kit says
"I'm not." I sulk
"River, talk to me. What's wrong?"
"I don't know," I whisper

Kit moves closer and then hugs me
"Is this about me leaving for a few days?" He asks
I nod, and I start crying
"Oh darling," he says "its only for a few days. We can facetime whenever you want. I promise, "
"It doesn't matter, facetiming, it's a camera, kit, you're not actually going to be here with me, are you," I say, moving away from him "that's nearly over 4000 miles away from me, and a 5 hour time difference"

I stand up and get my phone, and I storm off upstairs, and I lock myself in the bathroom, and I just bawl. A few minutes later, Kit knocked on the door, and I unlocked it. Kit sits next to me and hugs me
"I don't have to go if you feel like that, I'll call up my mum and tell her that I can't go," he says softly
"No, I'm sorry kit, I was being selfish, I just feel like you will abandon me and date some hot American chick,"
"Hey, I will never forget about you. You are the only person I want to date okay, don't you ever think that I will abandon you?"
"Sorry, I've been acting like a dick lately,"

we hug for a little bit, then Kit looks at me
"Can you please eat something even if it's just something small?"
I nod
"Do you just want a bit of toast?" He asks
I nod again
"Okay, then come on," he says, standing up

I stand up, and I jump onto kits back
"What are you doing?" he laughs
"I want a piggyback,"
He walks downstairs, and he does me some toast
"What do you want on it?" he asks
"Um, jam," I say

Kit walks over to the fridge and gets out the jam, and puts it on my toast. He puts my food on the table
"Okay, get down now, and go eat,"
"I want to stay with you,"
" You are with me," he laughs
"I don't want to let go," I beg
"Do you want to sit in the living room and cuddle while you eat?"
I nod

Kit brings the food in the living room and puts it on the coffee table
"Okay, get down now,"
I get off, and Kit sits on the sofa, then opens his arms for me to cuddle into, I crawl onto kit, and I start eating

"I'm full up,"
"Well, you ate more than half, so that's good," he says, kissing my cheek
I put the plate back on the coffee table, and I started biting my nails
"River, stop biting," Kit says, gently moving my hand away. "You keep making your hands sore,"
"Sorry," I say
"You don't need to apologise,"
"Kit, I um," I start tearing up. "I've been feeling really sad lately, and I don't know why, I just start crying for no reason, and I've had no motivation to do anything."

Kit hugs me tight
"Thank you for telling me, sweetheart. I know you find it hard telling people your feelings. "
I nod sadly
"Do you want to watch a Christmas movie?" he asks
I nod
