You had offered after unpacking if Heather and Madison wanted to walk with you to the amphitheater down at the beach. They said they were just going to drop something off at the nurses station. You don't remember if any of them took medication, but you were aware you weren't very close with them. And if you were being honest here, you were no longer going to question if they snuck off to do something. Considering they showed up drunk on the bus to even GET HERE you weren't going to be concerned with what they do from this point forward. They already fucked in your bed. It was only going to get worse from here. Of course, if they fucked on your bunk bed here at camp, it would definitely seem more like a personal vendetta towards you.

But since it seems that "girls week" is happening without you, (which was probably for the best with what Heather and Madison were doing; each other) you walk the opposite way from the beach and head towards the boys cabins. The walk itself was short, but felt almost eternal. The way the birds sang and the sound of a flowing creek was music to your ears. The trail was just a dirt path, but felt hard under your sneakers. It was so relaxing out here. You could spend more time outside for the rest of your life and it would never make up for those months trapped in your own room.

You could see the cabin in the distance and boys were walking past you to head towards the beach. Some boys just walked past, some said hi, and others were acting like crazy frat bros ready for a week of parties. You put your fist up as if trying to cheer with them. None of them noticed your enthusiasm, but at least you had the spirit. You could continue to hear their cheers as you were coming up to the cabin.

"Hey girl," Kai says to you walking out of the cabin. "You do know that the beach is in the other direction right?" He says laughing. Kai was wearing athletic gear as usual, but this time it was more relaxed and not as preppy looking. He looked like he would be in some kind of 90's slasher that took place at a camp. He takes his final steps down the stairs of the cabin and meets you in the opening.

"I know Kai. I came to get Rodrick. Madi and Heather ditched me for the nurse's office. Or so they said. I don't trust them for fucking in my bed still. Or you for that matter." You say jokingly punching his arm.

"Ow, what was that for? It's not like I could've stopped them. In fact, I at least had the decency to shut the door they left wide open. No one needed a show." Ugh, fine. You guess that did make him at least somewhat decent. Heather and Madison need to get a fucking grip and be a bit more discreet.

"Oh, gross. Fine, I'll trust you just slightly more. But next time, if you see them naked and on my property anywhere, please kick them out. I still don't think I can properly sleep in that bed." And that's an understatement. You had your aunt buy you a new mattress because you felt the ghost of fuck's past constantly in your room. You room that was supposed to be a virgin like you, but now it isn't. And yet, here you were, still a virgin, but your bed had gotten more action than you ever had. It was sad.

"Yeah, the way I hear it, you aren't sleeping in your bed much." Kai says with a cheeky smile.

"And that's supposed to mean... What exactly?" Taken aback by Kai's words, you step back slightly and cross your arms over your chest. You were already defensive of Rodrick and your relationship. But that was only because of how everyone reacted to him at your party. They all made up rumors you slept together. So yeah, maybe you did get upset if people tried to bring up personal aspects of your relationship with you.

"You and loverboy. Seems you spend all your time with him now. Or so he says." Kai looks away from you and back towards the cabin. Rodrick must still be inside there.

"He actually talked to you?" You say surprised. Judging by Kai's reaction, that might not have been the right thing to say. "No sorry! I mean like, you told me what went down between you guys in 8th grade, I thought he would never talk to you. Or you talk to him for that matter." You say, sheepishly. You knew the story. Rodrick and Kai were each other's first crushes. First kiss. First humiliation. People saw Rodrick and Kai kiss and Rodrick said it was all Kai's fault. Did you want to ask for Rodrick's side of the story? Of course! But Rodrick doesn't know that you know about this. And Kai asked you not to tell. You wouldn't talk to Rodrick about it unless he brought it up and in all honesty? You didn't want to hear about Rodrick's exes whatsoever.
