DANIELLE POV
I knock on the door since there is only one key card and the person who has the key is Haerin. The door opens and I see her. Her hair is up into a messy bun and I can see her hair sticking out at every direction behind her head. Her long polo sleeves had been rolled up to her elbow and she have panty on. I burst into a small laugh.
"What? Why are you laughing?" She ask as one of her brows raise. She is genuinely confused.
"I see that you've already had made yourself comfortable," I comment.
"I hope there isn't a problem," she turn away with sass to the kitchen. My smile grew as I step inside the house and lock the door.
Mmm, what's that savory smell coming from the kitchen?
I walk to the kitchen and found Haerin standing by the stove stirring what's in the frying pan. I will check it later after changing.
I went upstairs and got curious to know which room did she select. To my surprise, it was the room next to mine and she didn't decided to share the same room as me. That's good, I'm glad she knows that it's too soon for us.
After changing, I went back to downstairs to see Haerin. It's weird to know that someone else is also living with you, so now you gotta do everything and consider them.
"So are we going to have lunch together?" Haerin ask when she see me walk in.
"I guess," I answer her. She show me a adorable smile of appreciation and set up the table. I also help her then we both sit at the table, face to face.
"So tell me about you, Haerin," I ask a question then mentally hit myself. This isn't an interview, Danielle, ask something better next time!
"I'm surprise that you ask me that. My life is an open book, everyone knows," she said. I felt the guilt and embarrassment. It's rare that I feel embarrass, and this little hirl here is making me feel things that I can't control. "Well I can narrate my life for you then whatever you wanna know more, you can search it up. I grew up loving ballet. It's like I was born to just do that. My parents saw this and start putting me into classes that teaches Ballet. I was a prodigy and outperformed everyone, so the instructors saw this and soon I got some attention and when I grew older, I got into competitions. Here in front of you is the 4 times back. to back champion of women's ballet competition. The Kitty Queen, Kang Haerin."
Such introduction I had to clap.
"You don't have to tell me anything about you, because I did my homework," she said after I stop clapping.
Do I tell her sorry or not? Well, what good would it do?
"You weren't down for this set up right?" I ask.
She 'pfft' at me. "Why would I want tie myself to someone like you? I still have my whole life in front of myself," so, she's also the victim.
The rest of dinner was unpleasant. It was more like taking shots at each other whenever there's a chance. Though it didn't stop me from smiling inside. Anyways, there's always room for improvement.
I wash the dishes and Haerin left the kitchen. After finishing, I went to look for her.
"Hey Danielle, I need to talk to you," I hear Haerin from the living room.
I walk into the room and cross my arms. "I hope this is an apology," I say sarcastically. She laughs at me while shaking her head.
"No, I think I should tell you about my schedule. In case if you ever wonder where I'm at," she announce. Why would she even tell me this?
I walk to the couch that she's sitting on and sit on the other end. "What's your schedule like?"
"So I am practicing for an upcoming event. I have six months to practice so I will be busy. My training starts at 1pm till 8 or 9pm, depending on me or my choreographer. My rest days are just the weekends," That's a lot of information to remember.
"Wow, alright."
"And I need your help to get my car at my parent's house." I stare at her after what she add.
"That's not my problem," I respond to her. Her brow raise.
"Excuse me?" She ask.
"That's not my problem," I repeat. Haerin smiles then stop immediately.
"Don't make me call your parents," she threatens. "I'm sure they will teach you a lesson, and you should know that when you put this ring on me, at that moment I became your responsibility. Whether you were forced or not, I don't care."
I smirk. "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."
Haerin did exactly what she said she'll do and now I'm being lecture by my mom. That girl have to audacity to laugh as she watch me get scold. Oh you're gonna pay for this. I'm gonna get you back.
"Ok mom. I'll take her to get the car," I roll my eyes as I speak.
"You better. Now have a good day," my mom said before ending the call.
"Now you have some nerves!" I turn my attention back to Haerin.
"Yes I do and I'm very much like you but better," Haerin gets up from the couch and I follow her action. "I'm going to my room, so I will see you in a bit and you better drive me to get my baby," She begins walking away as she speaks.
"Funny because that was just a-" I grunt when I stump my pinky toe on the leg of the coffee table. I sit down and hold onto my foot. "Ow, Haerin come help me."
"Oops, that's not my problem," she smirks when she turn her head back to look at me.
