HAERIN POV
Pfft, she doesn't have the guts to call me herself. She had to ask her mom. Dani, you lost.
Mina Unnie and I book at a hotel for the day then tomorrow we're going to the event. I'm excited and confident that I will win tomorrow. So I order dinner to my room before packing my stuff for tomorrow.
A phone ring and Danielle's name pops up. I smile, wanting to know why she's calling. At first I decide not to answer, but then before it end, I answer.
"Hey Dani," I answer.
"When will you be back?" She ask. Wow, not even a hi?
"In three or four days, could be more if I plan to just stay here or travel somewhere else."
"... Alright."
"Why'd you call?"
"I was just wondering."
"Mhm. I have to go prep myself so bye."
"Bye."
Dani sounds disappointed. Of course I know she misses me. Or it could just be my body...
I resume to unpack my stuff, then after I finish, the door is knocked. I went to open it and a staff push a cart in.
"Here's your order, ma'am," she said.
"Thank you," I tip her then close the door.
After my dinner, I skip the shower and just lay in bed until I fall asleep.
DANIELLE POV
I hold her picture in my hands. It bugs me that she left without telling me. I close my eyes and smile. Damn it, she's doing what I did to her. Ha, Haerin. I will get you back.
Now, let's just bring this picture to my room. It's the closest thing to being with her.
There was a problem; there is no space available to hang the picture. It's no use. I put the picture back and head downstairs. Today I have wasted my time thinking about her. It's really not a big deal, but I've always been productive.
The next morning I start my day off with breakfast then head out for work. I have a meeting scheduled at 10 about ideas that one of the teams are presenting. It should be interesting as always.
I walk into the meeting room before anyone else. I sit down and wait for the others. Minutes later they came in. Six members.
"Alright, what do we have here?" I ask as I cross my arms.
They propose me their ideas, the costs and benefits, and how it will help us towards our goals. After that, I ask them a few questions and they gave me some satisfying answers. I made a few comments then told them that I'll consider their ideas.
HAERIN POV
"And here are the scores for today's competitors! Coming at first place is the Kitty Queen, Kang Haerin, Second place Shin Yuna. Third place is Kim Chaehyun," the speaker makes the announcement.
Mina Unnie, who's beside me, claps and congratulates me. You know its time to move on when first place no longer excites you. Too many trophies and medals back at home that if I sell, it will make me a fortune.
The cameras turns to me which shows me on the big TV. I smile and wave as I look up.
"Are we leaving after this?" I ask.
"Yes, unless you want to go ballet signing for some little kids. I just got an email that's offering you to go signing event for them."
"A school, or a club?" I turn to look at her.
