DANIELLE POV
I arrived in the country that she's in. The state that the event is taking place in. I have packed some clothes with me and now it's getting really late. I have just been dropped off by the family's private jet. And now I need a place to stay. I know what hotel Haerin is staying in and I don't want her to see me, so I'm going to book in a different hotel.
Tomorrow I woke up at 9am. I got the news that the event doesn't start until 1pm, which is odd, but it gives me time to myself. I got out my laptop and did some work. Around noon, I decided to visit Haerin and tell her good luck. Unfortunately, the front desk told me that Haerin and her team had left to the arena already. Bummer. I turn and leave to the the arena where it's taking place.
I bought a twenty dollar ticket, and honestly it was a long wait. Upon entering the big arena, it was already full. I walk down the stairs as I see all the ballerinas warming up on the floor stadium, dancing around. People cheer and take pictures. I then spotted Haerin and someone dancing after her. Jay reaches his arms out and grabs Haerin by the waist. I felt the jealous and rage. Once reaching the lowest seats, I find one and sit down. As I look at other Ballerinas, I always turn my attention back to Haerin. Never have I seen her performance so this is be the first.
"Ballerinas, please get ready, we will begin shortly."
After the announcement was made, the ballerinas clear the floor.
Haerin and Jay got off the floor holding hands. They sit next to each other and I feel the bitterness. Above the stage were four giant TVs, and guess who appeared up there. Yeah, me. I look up and didn't smile. I wave my hand then look down to Haerin again. This time she was looking back with a smile. Her smile made me also smile. Haerin stand up and make her way to me, so I figure to meet her half way. The security opened the gates and allowed me through to Haerin.
"Why are you here?" She ask. It wasn't a cold question, but rather a curious one. I glance down to see her in a white mini dress.
"Didn't you want me to come?" I ask back.
"It's too late, you missed two of my performance."
"At least not the last one," I smirk at her and all she did was roll her eyes with a smile. "I came here to see and support my wife," Haerin playfully tilt her head and squint her eyes. "Yes, it's surprising, but that's what I'm here for. So when it's your turn, good luck out there," I hesitantly kiss her forehead. The people nearby us 'aww' at us. I turned around and was about to go to my seat, but Haerin stopped me by grabbing my hand.
"Sit by me," she said and I nod.
We went to sit down and I held Haerin's hand. I also keep my eyes on Jay so he won't look at us. He didn't dare either.
"I'm happy that you came," Haerin whispered without looking at me.
An announcement was made and a pair of ballerina went to the floor stadium.
"I wasn't sure of coming, Haerin," I told her.
"But you're here. That's all that matters."
"When will it be your turn?" I changed the conversation.
"Two pairs after this," she answered.
"I'll be looking forward to it."
Haerin tried to hide her smile but she couldn't.
I watch the first pair perform their routine. They did jumps that were synchronized, chase each other on the floor, spin with each other. They ended with a pose when the music stopped. Everyone cheered at them and threw flowers. They bow for all four sides then exit the stage. This isn't really my taste. The two up coming pairs did the same thing I've described, but there isn't much chemistry between them. Hey, I'm not one to judge because I know nothing about ballet.
"Good luck, Haerin," I tell her and she flashes me a smile before going out the stage with Jay.
They held hands and bowed to all the people who were watching right now. They then went to the center and struck a pose and waited for the music to start. Once the music begins, Haerin turns away from Jay. Her arms are out and she dances away from Jay. Jay follows from behind and takes Haerin's hands. Jay lifts Haerin up in the air for a good 2 seconds then puts her down. They then did a big spin then another and another one. The crowd cheers at them as they return to chasing each other.
"The chemistry is strong," a girl came to sit beside me and made the comment. Who is she and where did she come from? "Haerin specifically chose Jay. She knows this would get your attention if you knew. How clever," I ignore her and look back at them.
"I came here for Haerin, not because I'm jealous or anything," I answer back after a self debate.
"Haerin is preparing the divorce papers, just so you know," she continues. How clueless of you to say something that is completely false. Haerin cannot divorce me nor can I divorce her until the two year agreement is over and we still don't get along.
"She can't divorce me," I simply informed her.
"She got your parents permission."
Whoever this girl is, Haerin must tell her everything. True that I never gave her any attention, but I have never cheated on her so it gives her no permission to file such stupid papers. I stopped talking to this girl and just breathe as I continue to watch Haerin.
This must be one of her ways to give me a pay back and once it is over, she will run to Jay. She drew me out here to make me see that I've lost.
Haerin and Jay did a set of spins and then somehow, Haerin lost her balance. She puts her knee down against the floor and pretends it's part of the routine. Haerin then got up and her knee was bleeding. A few seconds later, they finished their routine. They hug each other then bow then Jay did the unthinkable. He has the audacity to carry Haerin in his arms and come forward to me. I hold back from attacking him. I get up and take Haerin from Jay. We traded a glare before I went to put Haerin on her seat. I pull out a handkerchief, wipe the blood, and put it against the cut.
"Dani, the paramedics are here," she tells me. I look beside me then stand up to sit next to Haerin. I watch as her knee gets bandaged. Once it's over, Haerin holds my hand but I don't hold it back.
"I'm going to go now," I told her.
"Where?" She ask.
"Home."
"We can leave tomorrow," she suggested. I take it into consideration before nodding.
