Mia asked her cousin as she helped her pack her clothing, "Are you sure you can't stay longer?" But rather than helping, she's just creating more messes for Kayla to clean up.
"I can't. My boss would kill me if I extend my vacation."
In the end, Mia decided to stay for an additional week. Mia started whining like a little kid, but Kayla just laughed at how silly she is.
"It's only for a week, and we'll see each other again. Stop acting like a child."
When Kayla stood up, Mia clung to her thigh. Kayla sighed and looked down. Mia can be such a baby at times. It's not often, but she does act up from time to time, especially when she's not feeling well.
"Then pack your clothes and come home with me. It's simple as that. It's not like you're required to stay."
Mia let go of her and started fiddling with her fingers before saying, "After all, I already agreed. Wouldn't it be rude if I told him that I changed my mind?"
"It's going to be fine, and it's only for another week."
In all honesty, Kayla wants her cousin to stay for a different reason. She knows her cousin. Obviously, she's still in denial, so she wants to help her out a little. She's not blind. She saw the way Benito looked at her cousin.
*knock*knock*
The two women look in the direction of the door. Beni was leaning on the doorframe, looking at them.
"Are you done packing?" he asked.
"Almost if it wasn't for someone's disturbance. Could you help me with that someone?" Kayla joked, making Mia pout.
Beni chuckled. He entered the room, grabbed Mia's hand and pulled her up. "I'll remove the disturbance."
Kayla smiled gratefully. "Thank you."
Benito led Mia out of the room and took her downstairs to the living room, where they sat on the couch and waited for Kayla to finish packing. Mia slumps on the couch. It may not look like it, but she is less energetic than usual.
A few minutes later, Kayla finished packing and went down to inform them. Beni called his guard to help Kayla put her bags in the car, and they drove to the airport.
Kayla stopped Mia from walking her inside the building because she didn't want to keep her idol waiting too long. They hug each other before Kayla walks inside.
Mia just stood there and watched her cousin walk inside. Ultimately she decided to follow her cousin inside but walks out just a few minutes later and went back to the car.
The car started to drive back. Mia leaned against the window, silently looking outside. She's just not in her usual self.
Beni looks to her and asked, "Should we eat out?"
"Sure" she half-heartedly replied.
Beni frowned. "What do you want to eat?"
She leaned even more on the window and replied, "Anything."
He frowned even more. Now he felt upset because of her obviously uninterested response. She looks like she really doesn't want to be with him.
He looked outside and said, "You can go back if you want. I can book a ticket for you."
Mia looks at him but she can't see his face. She moved closer and leaned in to see his face. He looks at her briefly before looking back outside.
She pulled back and asked, "Are you upset?"
