*knock*knock*knock*

After knocking a few times but getting no answer, Benito decided to open the door and enter the room. When he turned on the light, he chuckled when he saw Mia on the bed, her hair covering her face.

He brushed the hair that was concealing her face as he lay next to her. He noticed a slight flutter in her eyes as he gently stroked her face.

"Wake up" He whispered in her ear but still no movement.

He chuckled as he grabbed her shoulder and began shaking her. Mia moaned in annoyance and uttered, "Inaantok pa ako. 5 minutes." without opening her eyes. (I'm still sleepy.)

"I don't know what you just said." Beni laughed.

She reluctantly opened her eyes and reached for her phone under the pillow, then checked the time.

"Ang aga pa. Gusto ko pang matulog."(It's still early. I want to sleep more.)

She just woke up, so her brain isn't fully functioning yet. She doesn't realize that Beni can't understand what she's saying. She covered her eyes with her palm since the light from the lightbulb is blinding.

"Patayin mo muna iyong ilaw. Nakakasilaw." (Turn off the light. It's blinding.)

In response, Beni also spoke in Spanish, telling her that he didn't understand what she was saying. He grabbed both the pillow she was hugging and the one she was resting her head on.

Mia still didn't get up and used her arms as her pillow. He got a little annoyed, so he got off the bed and pulled both of her feet, and she finally reacted when she was about to fall off the bed to stop him.

"Babangon na ako! Babangon na ako!" she yelled and then she reluctantly got up.(I'll get up! I'll get up!)

Benito smiled in triumph and said, "Come on. You said you wanted to see the sunrise. Dormir en el coche." He says as he walks to the closet and starts rummaging into it. (Sleep on the car.)

"Bukas. Pwedeng bukas na lang?" She pleaded as she lied back down lazily on the bed, but obviously Benito didn't get what she was saying. (Tomorrow. Can we do it tomorrow?)

Beni found a hooded jacket and jogging pants, so he took them out and gave it to Mia but she put it down next to her.

"Get up. Vamos a la playa.(Let's go to the beach.)

Mia was still sitting on the edge of the bed with her eyes half closed. He sighed and pulled her to stand up before hugging her, lifting her up a bit, and carrying her like a child to the bathroom.

After she did what she needed to do in the bathroom, they got out, and she put on the jacket and the jogging pants over her pajamas. When she was ready, they got out of the house.

"Why are you so energetic this early in the morning?" Mia asked when they got inside his car. She yawned while fastening her seatbelt.

She adjusted the angle of the seat to make it more comfortable. Beni let her sleep and only woke her up when they arrived at the beach.

Mia kept yawning as they were walking along the beach. She was taking her time to walk, so Benito turned to look at her and held out his hand. Mia saw him waiting for her to grab his hand, so she walked faster to reach out for it. They held each other's hands as they walked, settled down on a large rock, and waited for the sun to rise.

"When will it rise?" Mia asked as she prepares her phone. She wanted to take a video of the sunrise to send to her family group chat.

"Any minute now. Just wait."
