10: Whose in denial now?

"What did you do to my clothes?" 

I'm so stressed right now. All of my jeans are gone, and all that's left are dresses and skirts, which clearly aren't mine. Not a single pair of jeans was left behind. Why did I only notice it now? 

Only my regular house clothes were in the closet, but my OOTDs were all gone. The annoying thing is, even if I wanted to continue scolding her, it wouldn't change a thing.

"You're welcome." She said while laughing her ass off. 

I put the phone on speaker and opened all the closets just in case she was pranking me, but no. She really took all of it and just left me her dresses. She even took my sneakers and left her heels. I don't even like heels. It hurts my feet.

I groaned as I sat on the bed. "I hate you." 

"When will you ever catch his attention with those oversized clothes of yours? Girl, what's the use of your figure if you don't show him?"

I rolled my eyes before lying on the bed. 

"Who said I wanted to catch his attention? I told you I don't like to wear tight-fitting clothes."

"Girl, please. He already made the first move by asking you to extend your vacation. Grab the opportunity and seduce him within that one week."

"He did not make any kind of move. Stop putting meaning in everything he does." I retorted. 

"Oh sure! Bad Bunny just wants to spend time with his female friend, just the two of you at his house. Does he look like he has such free time to waste? Why would a single, good-looking, and rich guy do that? That's pure BS! Unless he's gay."

I can only imagine her rolling her eyes right now. 

"I don't know. Maybe he just really wants to spend time with me, like, in an innocent sense, not the one you're thinking of."

"Oh sure! Keep telling that to yourself. He likes you." 

Ughh. Not this again. "And how would you know that?"

"Umm, I may not be an expert, but haven't you seen the way he looks at you? His eyes just keep following you, and he seems like he wants to eat you."

"Whatever. Since you're so interested in my love life, why don't I also take interest in your love life?" Does she think I'm blind? I'm not that stupid.

"What love life?" I heard her ask, pretending like she didn't know what I was talking about.

I grinned and said, "When we were at the airport, you didn't let me walk you inside because you said not to make Beni wait, but I know you have a different reason."

I smiled further when I heard her fake a cough. 

"I was reluctant to see you go, so I followed you inside. Do you know what I saw next? "

"I don't know. Why would I know what you saw? I don't know what you're talking about." I can sense nervousness in her voice. You brought this upon yourself.

"Deny, deny, deny. I saw two people k-i-s-s-i-n-g. You didn't even tell me that Gabriel was going to be there. I didn't want to interrupt, so I just walked back to the car. Whose in denial now?" Mic drop! 

Yes, I said it. I was waiting for her to tell me first, but she just won't stop getting on my nerves. It's her fault for being too nosy.

"What?... Sor...I... hear... Gotta go! Byee!" and she drops the call without explaining anything.
