A cute boy with bright red hair stopped in front of me with his group of friends. As I walked past him I saw his eyes go down. I smirked to myself. I started quietly laughing. "What?" My aunt asked. "Nothin." I responded.
We got back down to the pool and tried to find a place to sit. My sister layla sat in front of me. I took one of my AirPods out of its case and played enchanted by Taylor swift. (totally haven't been crying to this for the past 30 minutes.)
The same boy walked past of us. My eyes caught up to his. His beautiful eyes always caught me so off guard. He's was just so stunning. He waved and said a simple hello while smiling.
I smiled back as he walked back into the pool. Layla started giggling and her face was red. "Did he just wave at you?" My aunt questioned. I looked at my family in shock. Was he?
That was the only question going through my mind as I did my makeup. "Did you see that ? He was so fine." My sister said sitting down next to me and opening Snapchat. "I saw." I said staying quiet. I was trying my best to ignore the pain beating against my already weak heart. I've never been good at love. My luck never works out. So of course he goes after my sister.
Later that night ☾
The same boy from earlier was swimming around the pool with two of his friends. My sister saw them and quickly got up to her feet. "Come on." My sister said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the pool called "the lazy river" I got in the water next to her. The group of boys were a few feet away from us. "There he is." My sister said excitedly just as the red head walked over to us.
That's it he's gonna ask for my sister
"Hey how old are you?" He said looking at me. Layla looked at me shocked and confused. She swam away from us to my other sister. "Me?" I asked confused. "Yeah." He said smiling. "Oh I'm 17." I replied. "Damn it" he said swimming so he was next to me. "Huh" "I thought you were 16, I'm 16" he said moving his bright red hair out of his face.
(The dude was 15. I know, rose that's a two year age difference! Idc I can't help it, he literally captivated me)
"Should I be offended?" I asked jokingly. "No no, that's a compliment." He said holding his hands up. I laughed. "Okay thank you."
"Where are you from?" He asked. "Indiana." I replied. "Do you know where (location ) is?" He asked me. "I know it's in Indiana but I don't drive so" I replied. "Why? If you don't mind me asking." "I'm terrified to drive." I replied. We walked around the pool still standing side by side. "Oh I don't blame you. People on the road are stupid." I nodded.
