I strum a few cords on my bass. My band, thorns, is working on our first studio album. Usually it's been EPs and singles.
"That sounds sick." Sam said walking into the studio. "Thanks it's nothing big, just an idea." I said my purple base down carefully letting it lean against the wall of our small studio.
Her half orange half blonde; split dye hair was thrown up for the moments sake. Sam grabbed the mic.
"Keep that beat y/n." She said. I nodded and picked up my base moving my fingers fastly along the strings.
Sam quickly added lyrics "You're hitting 30 and can't take a god damn joke." She sang. She motioned for me to pick up to pace. "All they ever really wanna do is talk shit, never had to work a day industry kids" she continued. She closed her eyes and sang more lyrics.
Axel and Andrew walked into the studio. Axel started hitting the drums as well. Andrew nodded along with the beat.

"I think we got a hit" I said excitedly. "Absolutefuckingly" Axel said. We all got hyped just as our manger walked in the room.
"So guys, I have some news." Jackson stated putting his phone in his back pocket. We all exchanged nervous glances.
"we are going on tour!" Jackson yelled "WHAT? NO FUCKING WAY!" Sam shouted. "GET OUT" Axel shouted . Andrew and I looked at each other. "Wait? With who?" I asked crossing my arms. "Waterparks." Jackson said.
My jaw dropped. Andrew and Sam started laughing. "What?" Jackson asked. "Y/n kinda has a huge crush on the lead singer." Sam said without hesitation. "Sam shut up!" I said annoyed.
"No, that's good actually. It might bring us more publicity." Axel shrugged and said "no, if anything happens between them it shouldn't be for views. That's not okay." I nodded.
