Michaels POV
I haven't slept in three days, each second spend thinking about Scarlett. I've finally managed to come up with what I hoped to be a solid plan. I have gathered as many of my angels as I could spare, the rest are left taking care of the city. We would attack Gabriel on his own turf. Something he would not expect, due to him being so arrogant. While the outcast are busy fighting my angels, I will easily get to Scarlett before Gabriel figures out my plan, which doesn't give me much time, but it's doable. All I think about is holding her in my arms again, protecting her. And I feel like a fool, for letting this happen. I have went over the plan with my angels over and over again, making sure that nothing can go wrong. I won't lose her too, I can't. I can't believe this is happening again. My past has come back to haunt me, but this time I can't allow for it to capture me in it's clutches.

Scarlett's POV
For the next two days, Gabriel has not come in to see me. Only his minions have come to bring me food. But other than that I just stay in my bed looking out the window. I feel like Rapunzel, being stuck in a tower. When I was little and I said that I wanted to live the life of a princess, this is not what I had in mind. I'm getting nowhere like this, and I'm wasting time. I need to step up my game. I went and banged on the door. It opened and the outcast poked his head through, looking annoyed.
"What?" He asked in a harsh tone. I stood tall, not intimidated.
"I want to speak to Gabriel." The outcast looked at me like I was crazy.
"You don't get to demand things around here." He said, as he was closing the door, but I put my foot to block it.
"Well I am. Now get Gabriel or I will prove your point about humans being a big pain in the ass."
"How did you hear that?" He asked looking perplexed.
"Heard what? What you and your buddies discussed about humans? Well maybe next time you shouldn't be talking right outside the door."
"But we never....forget it. Wait here, I'll go get Gabriel." He said as he closed the door.
"Yes, cause I was actually thinking about taking a stroll out the window. Dumbass." I said as I sat down on the bed, waiting for Gabriel. A couple of minutes later, the door opened and Gabriel stepped in.
"I heard you wanted to talk to me." I stood up.
"Yes, that's correct. I've been here almost a week, I want to know what you plan to do. What's the point of all this?"
"Don't ask for me again." He said, turning to leave, ignoring my questions. But I grabbed his arm.
"No, wait. I deserve at least an explanation. Gabriel, please." He gazed down at my hand gripping his arm. Then he looked at me. He finally gave in.
"What do you want to know?"
