"Gabriel." I whispered. He looked exactly as the the last time I saw him on T.V. He wore dark jeans with black boots and a leather jacket. Similar to Michael. His hair was a light brown color and was a bit tousled. He also had a bit of a stubble.
"I'm so glad you know who I am." He said as I realized that I'm standing in front of the most dangerous archangel in the world, half naked. Nice Scarlett.
"What are you doing here?" I asked trying to appear unfazed by his surprise visit, even though I knew that I was probably blushing. I hate that I blush so easily.
"I guess that I should explain the situation. You see, I knew that my brother lied to me when he said that he had no feelings for you. It's clear that he does. I don't blame him." He said as he slowly looked me up and down. At that moment I came to my senses and I quickly ran towards the bedroom and I shut the door, grateful that it had a lock. Even though I wasn't so sure that it was going to hold against him. I started dressing rapidly, grabbing the first things I saw as I heard Gabriel moving towards the door as he continued.
"At first my plan was to kill you, since I knew that my brother cared for you so dearly and you make him happy, and I couldn't have that. This is a war after all. But I rethought that plan. I figured that I could use you as leverage against my brother, among...other things. That is way more fun that just to kill you. So, to make a long story short, you're coming with me."
"The hell I am!" I yelled, opening the drawer to get my gun. But before I even got the chance to grab it, Gabriel slammed open the door making it almost fall off it's hinges.
"I'm sorry Scarlett, but I'm afraid you have no choice in the matter." He said moving closer.
"I think I'll decide that for myself." I said, picking up the gun and cocking the trigger.
"Leave! That is your final warning." But he just laughed at my threat, which irritated the hell out of me. I hate when people underestimate me. I started shooting at him. But he unfurled his wings and wrapped them around his body in a protective shield. Damn it! I hate those things. They provide a full body protection. I finally ran out of bullets and Gabriel put away his wings.
"Now that were done playing games, shall we go?"
"What makes you think that I'm just going to go with you?"
"Either you come with me willingly, or I take you by force. Your choice."
"Fuck you." I said as I dropped the gun, ran to him and kicked him in the solar plexus. The natural reaction would be for him to bend over breathless, giving me a chance to run. But that was not what happened at all. He didn't seem one bit affected. Instead he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me against him.
"Let me go, you bastard!" I screamed while pounding on his chest with all my might. But it had no effect. He started walking out of the bedroom with me trashing in his arms. All my years of training were useless against him. So it's time to try a new tactic. I always used to tell my friends that if I was to get kidnaped I would go crazy on that person and use everything I've got. Including my teeth. So, as repulsed as I was by it, I nuzzled my face in the crook of his neck.
"See Scarlett, I knew that we would get along." He said, taking pleasure out of this. Yeah right, I thought. I pressed my lips to his neck and opened my mouth bitting down hard on as much skin as I could grab, tasting blood in my mouth. Gabriel yelled, as he released me, giving me a chance to elbow him in the face. I wanted to run towards the kitchen but I knew I wouldn't make it in time. So I ran towards the bathroom and locked it. Much good that would do, but it would buy me some time. Gabriel started pounding on the door.
"Scarlett we both know that this door won't hold me! I don't want to hurt you, but I will if it comes to that!" I frantically scanned the room for something I can use to defend myself. But first I went into my makeup bag and pulled out the eyeliner. I wrote G on a corner of the mirror, praying that Michael will see it and figure it out. Then I looked through one of the drawers and found a pair of scissors. I grabbed them and hid behind the door.
"Fine. Have it your way." He said as he opened the door with force. As soon as he entered the bathroom I lunged forward aiming the scissors for his neck but unfortunately he grabbed my wrist.
"Quick reflexes." He said as he squeezed my wrist really hard, making me cry out in pain and drop the scissors.
"Let's go." He said in a demanding voice as he dragged me out of the bathroom and towards the balcony. I screamed and did everything I could to break free of him.
"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, but I can't have you draw any attention to us." I was confused and scared about what he was going to do that he had to be sorry for. But I didn't have to wonder for long because he let go of me and backhanded me so hard against my face that the last thing I remember is hitting the ground and seeing only darkness.
