Renn's Pov

Tippy returned after a few hours and let Lucius know that she had found a place on the edge of the small muggle village that was far enough away to have some privacy from the muggles but not so far as to raise any suspicion to any potential death eaters or dark creatures that happened to cross through the area.

It looked like a regular home, according to Tippy. Nothing anywhere close to what the manor looks like of course but nothing could compare to that.

Apparently it was somewhat similar to what we were staying in now but much more modernized with all the latest muggle technology that none of us really knew how to use.

I tried to bite back a smirk as I watched Lucius and Draco's faces both blanch at her mentioning 'muggle technology'. Lucius' expression coming off as disgusted but Draco looked completely befuddled.

While Tippy was gone I had packed up all of my belongings into my bag, not that I had brought much with me in the first place so that didn't take long.

When Draco was distracted with Lucius outside for a few minutes I had snuck over to the book case that was here when we arrived and took a bunch of the muggle literature that I thought looked interesting; quickly shoving them into my bag.

I was not going to miss this place I thought to myself as Tippy started on a light dinner for us before we had to leave.

I was relieved to be closer to people and not so isolated. Even if they were just muggles. It would be a relief to not feel so exposed constantly in the middle of no where. Even with the wards Lucius set and checked on regularly I never felt one hundred percent safe. Although I don't think feeling safe is a luxury I'll be afforded for a long time. No matter where I am.

"Father' Draco called Lucius' attention to him, quickly snapping me from my thoughts. 'Is there muggles already inhabiting this place or is it unoccupied ?"

"Good question son." Lucius responded before yelling for Tippy.

As soon as the small elf popped over to us he bombarded her with that question. "Is this place free of filthy muggles or will I have to be prepared to curse some ?" He asked as his eyes flashed darkly at the thought of harming some muggles.

"Yes master, Tippy made sure the house was free of any muggles." The elf responded while looking up at Lucius with wide eyes.

He nodded at her and I asked a question that was nagging at me. "Won't the muggles in the village notice that we're living there ?"

"No they will not, we will set wards on the property as soon as we get there, including another blood magic concealment charm with all three of our bloods this time. So the wards will be stronger.' He brushed some lint off of his robes and continued. 'The stupid muggles will not notice the house nor will they remember that there was one there in the first place." Lucius retorted as he removed his hand from his robe and waved it dismissing Tippy to continue making dinner for us.

"Wouldn't the blood magic we did here keep us safe ?" I questioned.

"Technically speaking yes but because we didn't use Draco's blood in the ritual any magic he performs will leave a trace, even behind all of the wards. Dark creatures and death eaters would be able to find our location and although they would not be able to get into the wards the Dark Lord would know where we are." He stated while Tippy floated over a glass of firewhiskey to him.

My heart dropped at his words. "Why didn't you think of this sooner ?! We've been at risk since Draco has been here then ?!"

He nursed his glass of firewhiskey as he looked at me over the rim of his glass before he responded. "Well there was no need to worry as there were no death eaters or dark creatures lurking about but now that I have seen some it is too dangerous for us to stay here."
