Giant In The Sky

(I know I've done some beanstalk scenarios but I'm making the giant a prince. Plus I named the title after the song Giants In The Sky from Into The Woods)

Y/N's POV
My mother and I live on a small farm with only one cow named Milky White. Milky is such a sweet cow and has been with me the past few years and she's been my best friend ever since. I never had any human friends so it does get lonely on the farm but I wouldn't change it for the world. That is until my mother came in. "Y/N, it's very strange that you have a cow for a friend so I'm gonna have to ask you to take the cow to the market." Said Mother. " No, Mom. Milky White is my friend. I'm nothing without her." I said hugging Milky White. "I don't care. We need the money and I don't wanna hear another word out of you." So I did what my mom said and went to the market in tears knowing I have to sell my only friend. I was then stopped by a mysterious man. "Hello little girl. Where are you headed to?" He asked. "I'm off to sell my cow to the market." I said. "Why don't I take the cow for you? I'll exchange for some magic beans." I looked at him confused. "What makes them magic beans?" I asked. "You plant these and it take you to a place beyond your wildest dreams." I took his offer and gave him Milky White. "Please take good care of her." I said starting to cry. "Don't worry. I love animals. I hope to see you soon." When I got home, I showed mom the beans. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?! I ASKED YOU TO DO ONE THING AND YOU GIVE THE COW TO SOME STRANGER! GET OUT!" I ran away from home with all my stuff. I knew mom never liked me but she's the worst. I look at the beans and planted them. "Please take me far away from mother. I wanna live in a safe place." That's when I felt a rumble and a huge beanstalk grew in a matter of seconds. "Will this take me to a safe place?" I climbed up to find out for myself and what I found was a beautiful castle that I believe belongs to a giant. I'm terrified of giants but I had no choice but to go in because I needed shelter. I have never seen anything so beautiful. That is when everything around me began to shake. I turn around to see the giant that lives in the castle. I hid behind a plant afraid of what he might do. Especially because he's a prince, so he probably has guards everywhere. I waited until he passed me and slowly came out but I was caught by one of the guards which caused me to scream. "All visitors must have an invitation from the prince. You're coming with me." I struggled to get out but he's too strong. "Please don't hurt me. I ran away from home." I said crying. "Tell that to the prince." I continued to scream.

Harry's POV
I've been dealing with a lot of unwanted visitors lately so I hired some guards to deal with trespassers. I only accept visitors with an invitation. However, on my way to the dining room, I heard someone scream. I turn a around to see one of my guards with a human in his hand. "What's going on?" I asked. "I caught this trespasser sneaking in. She could be thief for all I know. You figure out what you wanna do with her." That's when he threw the human girl towards me but I carefully caught her without hurting her. The poor thing was so scared and I can feel how much she's shaking. "How do you know she's a thief?" I asked angrily. "All humans are." That's when I felt nothing but rage but I kept calm so I won't scare the human. "She probably came here for shelter. Look at her. Does she look like she could steal or harm anything?" The little human began to cry. "Shh it's ok, sweetie." I gently rubbed her back. "I suggest you leave and never return to my castle. I don't tolerate ignorance of any kind." The guard left and I looked down at the human. "Let's go get you something to eat. My chef makes the best vegan meals ever." I cradled her against my tummy. "What's your name?" I asked. "Y-Y/N." Y/N grabbed onto my thumb. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Y/N. I'm Harry."

Y/N's POV.
I'm completely surprised by how gentle Harry was. All this time I thought all giants eat humans but instead he's cradling me against his tummy with the biggest yet most gentle hands ever. They were also very soft. Harry gently placed me on the table. "My chef making vegetable lasagna. I hope you like it." Said Harry as I nodded. "You're still scared?" I began to shake again afraid Harry was going to be mad. "Y/N, it's ok. I'm not mad at you. I know I made a rule that I only allow visitors with an invitation only but I knew you were more than just a visitor. You came here for a safe place to live." I explained everything that happened between me and my mother. "You poor thing. No wonder you're so lonely." Harry gently hugged me against his chest. "You can stay with me. I'll keep you safe." I hugged his thumb. "Thank you so much, Harry." I said hugging his thumb tightly. "No problem, sweetie." I hid my face when the chef came in.

Harry's POV.
I realized how shy Y/N was when the chef came in to set the food on the table. "It's ok, Rylee. Chef Layla is very gentle." She slowly came out of hiding. "He's right. Harry and I believe humans have the right to live. You're completely safe here." I saw a small smile on Y/N'S face. "Alright, here's your meal and Y/N I shrunk yours so you won't struggle so much." Said Layla. "Thanks Layla." I said as Y/N and I began eating. I can tell Y/N felt guilty about not talking to Layla but I knew she's still warming up to a new environment considering she has trust issues. "It's ok, sweetie. It takes time to warm up to a new place. I know humans and giants have a history of hating each other. Unfortunately some giants still think human need to be dead. I've always been a very gentle giant. And I fire any staff that hurt humans. You saw that when you came in." Y/N giggled and I gently picked her up. "You're so cute. It makes me sad to see humans get hurt by giants for no reason." I gave her a gentle kiss. "I'll always protect you." Y/N gave me the cutest smile ever. I then took her to my bedroom after we were done eating. I took off my shirt, laid in my bed, and placed Y/N on my tummy.

Y/N's POV
I couldn't believe how soft Harry's skin was as I snuggled on his tummy. He was softer than the cloud outside the castle. "You like you're new home?" I look up at him. "I do." I said. "I'm glad. I'm really sorry your mother treated you so horribly. You deserve a safe place to live." I snuggled even more. "You're so tiny. This is why I love being a gentle giant. I'm basically a giant teddy bear." I giggled in response. "You're much softer than a teddy bear." Harry chuckled. "I love you, Y/N." Said Harry." I love you too, Harry." I said. "Wanna watch a movie?" Asked Harry. "I'd love that." Harry put on Super Mario Bros which is a great movie. I continued to snuggle on his tummy until the end of the movie and fell asleep knowing Harry will keep me safe. He's the sweetest giant ever and I don't ever want to leave him
