The Dark Isn't As Scary As You Think

I've always been afraid of the dark. When I was a kid, a friend of mine would invite me to spend the night. I enjoyed every minute of it. But the worst part about it was that she would tell scary stories before we went to bed. These weren't the scary stories that kids would usually tell, these stories that she would tell were very disturbing. The last time she told a scary story, it put me in therapy. It was a story about a giant demon that comes after humans and eats them if they come into his house. It caused me to have nightmares of giants eating me if they found me in a dark room. They scarred me for life. She eventually stopped telling those scary stories. I'm a human who's living in a giants house in secret so the giant won't see me. But I somehow ended up in a dark room. I was really scared because the giant could show up at any minute. I then heard snoring, which could mean one thing. I'm in the giants bedroom. I was really terrified as I know if you wake up a sleeping giant, they will eat you. I looked in the direction where the snoring was coming from. I fell off of something and land on an unfamiliar surface. I then heard a voice say. "What just fell on my face?" I then saw a giant hand coming at me and grab me. I saw the light come on but I closed my eyes in fear. I screamed as I felt another hand touch me. "It's ok, love. I'm not gonna hurt you." I recognized the voice but I was too scared to turn around. "There's nothing to be scared of. You're in good hands." I then slowly turn to face him and I immediately knew who it was. "Hello, love." It was Harry Styles.

Harry's pov
I already knew the tiny girl was a fan judging by how shock she is. She looked like she was about to cry. "You're a fan, aren't you?" I saw her nod her head nervously. She is so cute. "It's ok sweetie. You don't have to be nervous." She then burst into tears. "I-I didn't realize it was you. I was s-so scared that it was gonna be a giant that eats humans when they're woken up." This poor girl was so scared. "You're afraid of the dark and giants, aren't you?" She cried even harder. "Shh. It's ok little one. Nothing's gonna hurt you. I'm not going to eat you. You're way too cute." I saw her blushing a little. "I'm scared of the dark, too. But I know that nothing is coming to get me. Well, with the exception of you." I then gave her a kiss. I pulled away after 20 seconds.

Y/N's pov
I felt my heartbeat increase. I've just been kissed by Harry Styles. I've always wanted to be kissed by him, I just never thought it'd be like this. He's a giant. A gentle giant. This was even better than I expected. "I've always wanted to be kissed by you, I just never thought it'd be like this." I saw a huge smile on his face. "Well I never thought that I'd kiss someone so small yet so cute." I started to tear up in happiness. Harry is the sweetest guy ever. "Now I'm gonna turn the light back off so I can get back to sleep." My smile fade and I got really scared. "It'll be ok. I'll protect you from the darkness. I'll let you snuggle on my chest." He then set me down on his bare chest after he turned the light off. His skin was so soft and warm. And his heartbeat was so soothing. "See? There's nothing to be scared of. You're completely safe." I felt his huge hand hug my body. I felt so happy that I was in the hands of a giant and that giant is Harry Styles. "Goodnight sweetheart. Sweet dreams." I went into a deep sleep knowing that I have someone protecting me. This was the beginning of something beautiful.
