Mistaken For Bugs

Rylee's POV
I don't know how it happened but everyone in my neighborhood has shrunken to near-microscopic size and we ended up in the someone's house. We had no idea who's house it was but it's apparently someone who lives in the neighborhood. "Rylee, have you found anything yet?" Asked my brother, Danny. "Not yet but I'm really worried about Harry." I said to Danny. "I am too. I haven't seen him." Said Danny. "Is it possible he shrunk in another house?" That's when the ground shook and people started running away screaming. "I don't think he shrunk at all." I was wondering why Danny looked scared until I turned around to see a giant Harry. We all realized it was his house. "Oh my god! He's huge!" We were basically the size of ants compared to him. "What a day." His voice sounded very much like thunder. "Although the neighborhood seemed a little too quiet." We all ran screaming for safety as Harry came closer with his booming footsteps. "RUN FOR IT!" Screamed some of the people as we ran under the dresser. Harry took off his shirt and laid in bed.

Harry's POV
I was so relieved when I got home after a long day of recording new music. When I got home, I noticed the neighborhood was very quiet. It felt like a ghost town as if everyone disappeared. The one person I'm mostly worried about is Rylee. She lives a block away from me and I've always thought she was adorable. She's also very shy and very skittish but she's so beautiful. Her brother, Danny, is very kind and I can tell he's very protective of Rylee. But he knows I would never do anything to hurt his little sister. I really hope they're both ok. As I went to my room to go lay down, I heard very faint screaming. I decided to ignore it because I thought it was in my head. I took off my shirt and took a nap when all of a sudden, I felt something all over my body.

Rylee's POV
We came out from under the dresser as Harry went to sleep and we all thought of a plan to try to get his attention. "We're gonna have to climb onto him." Said our neighbor Cat. "But what if he thinks we're bugs and kills us?" I asked in a panic. "We have to try. He's the only one who can help us." I was still scared and everyone gathered around me. "We'll all protect you, Rylee. Harry already loves you. We'll run for safety if he does mistakes us for bugs but once he sees us, he'll be happy to help us especially you." I took a deep breath and climbed up with everyone. It didn't take as long as we thought to climb onto Harry's tummy. We all spread out to different areas of his body try to get his attention. One person was on his chest, two people were on his upper lip (hopefully they don't get eaten or sucked into his nose), some people were at his butterfly tattoo, Danny was at one of his extra nipples, a few other people were at his arms, and I was at his bellybutton. "Harry! Please wake up!" I was trying to get his attention when his body rumbled, causing me to fall into his bellybutton. "DANNY!" I screamed for Danny and he came running to me. "What happened?!" Asked Danny worried. "I FELL INTO HARRY'S BELLYBUTTON AND I CAN'T GET OUT!" I panicked trying to get out. " "Don't worry, I'll save you!" Danny was about to get me out when Harry's body rumbled again which meant he's waking up. "Oh no. Am I covered in bugs?! EW! GET OFF ME!" Harry's voice roared very loudly as we all screamed as he got up and brushed most of us off him. Meanwhile, I'm still in his bellybutton trying not to fall.

Harry's POV
I tried to ignore the sensation all over my body but I couldn't take it anymore so I woke and saw what looked like to be bugs all over me. "Oh no. Am I covered in bugs?! EW! GET OFF ME!" I quickly brushed them off and the all end up on the floor. "You bugs disturbed me for the last time." I didn't realize how fast the bugs were until they ran when I tried to kill them. I followed them and crouched down to see if I can get them with my hands. "You're not going anywhere you little pests!" I lift my hand to kill them when I heard the screaming from earlier. It seemed be coming from the direction of the bugs. I looked closer and I was shocked to see they weren't bugs at all. They're my neighbors who were now near-microscopic size. I felt my heart breaking knowing I almost killed them. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you all shrunk." They all started crying so I gently picked them all up and held them in my palm as I recognized Danny, Rylee's big brother. "Danny, what happened to you guys and where's Rylee?" Danny told me what happened. "That's so strange. And what about Rylee?" I asked. "She's in your bellybutton." I looked to see Rylee crying in my bellybutton. "Oh no. You poor thing." I gently took Rylee out of my bellybutton.

Rylee's POV
I cried in Harry's bellybutton until I saw his huge hand and he gently took me out. "How long were you in there?" I continued crying as Danny hugged me. "I fell in just before you woke up." I cried in Danny's arms. "I am so sorry, Rylee. I'm so sorry for almost killing you guys. I had no idea you guys were trying to get my attention." I looked up at Harry with sad eyes. "I am so glad you guys are ok. I couldn't imagine what would do if I killed all of you. And Rylee, I couldn't have imagine life without you. I haven't stopped thinking about you." I felt my heart skip a beat from what Harry said. "I feel the same way." Everyone including my brother went awe. "Let's get you guys back to normal." Harry took us outside to unshrink us. "Thank you so much, Harry." I went to hug him. I may be back to normal but he's still way taller than me. Everyone thanked him as well. They all went home except Danny. "Thank you so much for helping us. I still have no idea how we shrunk but I'm just happy we're back to normal and Rylee is safe." Danny put his arm around me. "No problem. I still feel bad for scaring Rylee. I never wanted to hurt her and I probably scarred her for life." Said Harry. "Hey, don't blame yourself. You didn't know. I know how much you love my sister and I know you never wanted to hurt her. But you saved us and we really appreciate that." That's when I went to hug Harry again. "My sweet little angel." Harry kissed my forehead. "Rylee knows how gentle you really are. She wouldn't be hugging you if you weren't." I continued hugging him. "Is it ok if I have her as my girlfriend?" Asked Harry. "Of course. I know I'm protective of her but you didn't need to ask permission from me to ask her out. She already loves you." Harry and I hugged in excitement. "Alright, I should probably head home. You coming, Rylee?" I looked up at Harry as Danny asked me. "Actually, I'm gonna stay with Harry for a few hours." I said. "Alright. I'll see you when you get home."

Harry's POV
I'm so happy Rylee decided to stay because I really wanted to make it up to her by making a little date night. I made dinner for us and went to hangout in the living room afterwards. "I'll be right back, sweetie." I said going to the kitchen to make us sugar cookies. Once they were done, I let them cool, put them on a plate, and brought them to the living room. "You made us cookies?" I asked Rylee. "I did. I wanted to surprise you." I said putting the place on the coffee table. "You're the sweetest. Thank you so much." I sat down and put my arm around her. "I'm just so glad you're ok. I don't wanna lose my favorite girl." She snuggled against me. "I don't think I'd wanna be that small again. It's so scary and dangerous." Said Rylee. "You atleast stayed safe in my bellybutton instead of falling to the floor." I said. "I actually fell in and got stuck when I felt your body rumbled. Although, it was kind of cozy in there." I chuckled in response. "You're so cute." I pinched Rylee's cheek which made her giggle. "You even have the cutest giggles." Rylee wrapped her arms around me. "I'm definitely going work on being more careful in case a situation like that happens again. Plus, I'd let you snuggle in my bellybutton again." She giggled as I kissed her forehead. "I'll always protect you." I continued to snuggle with Rylee as we snacked on cookies and watch the new Haunted Mansion movie. She's my little angel and I'll always protect her.
